Product Review I was considering the comparable Fishman Loudbox amp and then compared features to the Boss Acoustic Singer Pro. The "Pro" had features that worked for me; the Harmony feature and the Acoustic Resonance stood out. I play 12 string guitar, a Taylor 352ce, so audio controls were very important. This amp does an excellent job with the guitar and the vocal channel is a pleasure to work with, The harmonizer is excellent and the amp comes with a footswitch, to toggle the harmonizer on/off. The outbound balance line capability is excellent, you have a choice of sound and I really appreciate the Headphone practice capability. Although I do have a Fishman Loudbox Charge (great battery powered acoustic amp), this Boss is the best choice for a 110vt powered amp for me.

Product Review I use this amp as a stage amp for my banjo and acoustic. Great sound and very loud. Plenty of headroom for larger venues. The direct outs for both channels is very handy. I can even mix the channels into one send to save mix channels if needed. I have also used this for solo acoustic gigs. The harmony feature is fantastic and follows the chord progression as you play. I love this amp albeit a bit heavy for its size it packs a punch.

Product Review My primary purpose in purchasing this amp was to prove to myself that I didn’t need it. However, I also purchase the Fender Acoustic Jr at the same time. Finances dictated that I keep only one, and I was sure it would end up being the newer and cheaper Fender. However, I could not ignore how good my high end guitars sound through this amp. The acoustic resonance is amazing! Hands down, the best acoustic amp out there. The only detriment is that the looper is limited to 40 seconds and the only song I loop on a regular basis is 47 seconds.

BEST amp for performing LIVE

Product Review This amp, although small in size, is a GIANT when it comes to performing LIVE. It has reverb, echo, harmonizer, looper and comes with a 2 switch foot controller. You can buy it with 60 Watts or 120 Watts output. The 120 Watt model not only affords more POWER, it also carries a larger SPEAKER (which handles low frequencies better). This small amp is truly a "WONDER" to behold.

Product Review I have been playing at the same venue for 5 years--a small wine bar with upscale clientele--and once in a while someone in the audience asks me to play a private party or a get-together. I used this amp 2 weeks ago and 4 people booked me that night to play in the next two months. It was the Boss amp that gets most of the credit. I was able to use the harmony feature and it was amazing. I accompanied myself on several songs, and was able to play leads that I had to leave out before, since I am a solo guitarist (I have a percussionist and harmonica player). The Boss amp had clean sound and the effects were easy to use and sounded great. I am so happy to have purchased this amp, since it makes me sound like the Boss!

Product Review I like this unit for the acoustic resonance. Really brings out the acoustic guitar. The looping feature works but it sucks, even with the use of a pedal. You can start the loop, overdub the loop, stop the loop, but when you stop to clear the loop it comes back on for about a second then stops. Not good for live shows. Only way around it is to stop loop for the overdub, mute the unit, double tap and hold to clear, unmute unit and do over again. Called boss and that is the way they designed it. Crazy. Otherwise good unit. Does not seem as loud as the AC90 by roland.

Product Review I’ve always wanted a good acoustic amp but when I purchased this amp I didn’t realize how incredible it was going to be. The loop and microphone effects are outstanding and really can help a artist that is solo become much more !! The acoustic sound with the guitar is also just outstanding producing on stage sounds right in your living room !!

Product Review I researched this amp and it turned out to be even better than expected. Great sound quality and construction plus all the great features Boss has put into this gear. I would recommend this to any acoustic guitar player/ songwriter. Along with American Musical’s easy transaction and fast delivery, I came out a winner, thanks.

Product Review I have owned a lot of BOSS and ROLAND products over the years, including a number of their amp. The strength of this particular unit for me include good build quality and rich feature set. Then the areas that I felt could be improved were in the reverb and vocal harmony features. They were just "ok", but not as usable or quality as I had hoped. Even with that said I feel that great reverb options are easy to find these days, and not everyone who buy's this amp will be using the vocal harmony feature anyways. There are still tons of features provided here that make this a good unit for the price.

Product Review (My wife got me this amp here at AmericanMusical.) I'm 62 years old-musician; been an acoustic player/singer since I was 17... I am very particular to sounds, especially when it comes to mix for church singers. I tested and played many PA/AMPs etc... This thing is easy to operate and calibrate. I love the delay and reverb easy settings to enhance to vocals. This is one good machine for those picky musicians/singers who get invited to sing to other churches that have digital mixer but do not know how to create a good mix for visiting singers. You can set it to the right mix, patch to the house system, or just mic it, and you get the sound you want. The chorus adds spectrum to my martin guitar.

Product Review Overall I'm very satisfied with this amp! I did a side by side comparison of this amp & it's main targeted competitor the "Fisherman LoudBox Artist" which also is an outstanding amp. Here is what I've experienced. The quality of outer covering: Boss wins hands down for fit and finish. The Loudbox standard brown cheap tolex has many issues; one being it tears very easily. The Boss amp has the quality of a Yamaha full sized Clavanova covering. Very durable and I can't see any visible lines where this skin was pieced. The Fishman is noticeably much louder than the Boss ASP. The fishman's power rating is clearly stated "RMS" of 120 watts and it is LOUD. Boss is only stated that it's a 120 watt amp. Which from using it now on several gigs, seems to me in my opinion a "Peak" output. From my ear; The boss output is equivalent to the Fishman loud box 60 watt volume rated amp. But the additional features and overall sound of the Boss is actually "Fuller" sounding.
