This product from Boss absolutely blew me away. I would definitely put this up against Strymon’s products. Of course everyone will have their own preference just like people choose a certain brand over another because of the name on it, but this pedal is loaded with tons of parameters. If you want the reverb that sustains a crispy chord or need that extra hold to play lead lines this pedal will do it and much more. Like a sound you hear from one of your favorite guitarists or songs and you can download it as a preset. If you want the big sound without paying the big price I highly recommend this pedal you won’t be disappointed

Versatile easy and intuitive to use and absolutely just wonderful for me to use in live situations especially where I don’t want to set up a rack unit. The sound quality is fabulous if you know how to get the most from this pedal but do the take proper time to explore/learn the capabilities of this unit to able to quickly dial in the best sounds/presets. And, I think it gets obvious you can’t beat the price for what it does in a multitude of situations. Works great for me and it does everything I need it to for my purposes. So far it has met or exceeded my expectations but, make sure to “try” before you buy to make sure it’s right for you. It does a pretty big range of stuff — more than most people will ever need so do keep in mind your sound purpose- I love the sounds I get from it- try it if your in the market for a new reverb. I’m pleased with it and I’m pretty picky. ?? peace out

I love my RV-500! It was easy to make my own patches right out of the box, and it’s intricate enough that I still haven’t uncovered all it will do. This is a great multi reverb unit that doesn’t break the bank.

This was one of my first reverbs that had all the functions to run stereo and midi and oh man it made a difference! I love the types of tones and flexibility it has. Our team does many different genres and it worked well with each genre. This is well work the bucks!

This thing is the most and I mean most versatile reverb pedal I’ve ever owned. The parameters at which you can edit each patch is so infinite that you could make one type of reverb do everything just about. But it doesn’t stop there the versatility only becomes more and more evident through the amazing tones that are birthed from this thing. All in all if you’re a minimalist it’s not for you, but if you love tinkering and being obsessive like me. Then this pedal is definitely for you.
