I only use chromatic tunes and have one integrated into my pedalboard while on stage. I purchased a practice amp and wanted a precision chromatic tuner at home. This one is the cream of the crop. Easy to read and easy to precisely tune your guitar. There is absolutely no noise when bypassing the tuner. The adapter is not included so I highly recommend grabbing one as well: Boss PSA-120S2 Boss Pedal Power Supply.

I've come to expect nothing less than perfection from Boss, and especially from the waza line. Everything I've owned from Boss has been near immaculate. This is more of the same. Does everything I need it too (and more), looks cool, and is built better than my Toyota. AMS had it at my doorstep asap.

The main reason I bough this over others was because it could accurately pick up the piezo pickups on my various acoustic electrics, most importantly by 12 string Martin. I've tried both Korg Pitch Black and the TC PolyTune and both SUCKED at picking up acoustic instruments with piezos or really any kind of pickup. It didn't like my Taylor either.
Finally, I saw this Boss Waza and gave it a whirl. Low and behold, it works PERFECTLY for both electronic and electric acoustic. It especially picks up my 12 string octave strings in chromatic mode. I will never go back and use anything else. Now I want a second for my electric guitar pedalboard.

Originally bought this because I needed the buffered input to run a fortin zuul and make room for other 9 volt pedals on my board. Not only can you see clearly and accurately but it powers other pedals too. Great investment boss makes ‘em the best. Definitely buy it again

I love how accurate the tuner is, but wish they would have stuck eith the original LED colors of the TU-3 Tuner. The true bypass and buffered signal options both work great. The LED lights are definitely bright enough for dark rooms and daylight playing.

I have always used rack tuners but wanted to change things up.
Nice, clean look and easy to read/tune weather lights on or off with just a light tap of the pedal.
I like the fact I can bypass the signal or not depending if I want to cut the sound while tuning during a set/rehersal.

Probably the best pedal tuner I've owned. I bought it to put together a small pedal rig for the occasional live gig, but will be primarily used in the studio and on the set up bench. Next best thing to a StroboTuner that costs 3x as much. Works great for what I need. I opted for the Waza model over the regular Boss pedal tuner for the added features and very user-friendly display, not to mention Made in Japan quality. Very well packaged, and seems to be built like a tank. Love it. Getcha one!

I have used other chromatic tuner pedals but the Boss Waza Tuner pedal is the best. It is so easy to see how far off a string is out of tune. The Waza pedal is better than Boss’ regular tuner pedal because of how easy it is to read, even in darkened stages! Get it! You’ll be happy with your decision!
