This product is listed as a keyboard work station but does not have midi in or outputs so it does not actually work as a work station. It is just an expensive and fancy keyboard. Unfortunately, anyone looking for a work station will be quite disappointed with this. It doesnt work. It needs to be reclassified by american music. This is actually really frustrating.

Have been a customer with American musical for many years now and they never disappoint! Customer service is phenomenal and the products are superb. Have bought many guitars and amps for personal use but bought this as a gift for my daughter and it may be the best present I ever got her. In the 8 months since purchasing she’s unlocked a whole new musical world for herself and has become a fantastic pianist/keyboard player. Give the gift if music and you’ll never regret it.

I'm an experienced drummer/guitar player. I purchased this to add versatility for recording. Wow! They've come a long way from the Casiotone! The piano, organ and synthesiser models are top notch! Close my eyes with "church organ" and I feel the pipe organ filling every nook of the room! With a little nuance I put together orchestral sounds that worked as a fine backup! Also, I was surprised that I even utilized some of the drum kit sounds that I couldn't get with my own kit! The variety of tones are overwhelming! Very interesting world instruments. I spent the first day just fiddling with the vast array of sounds! Now to learn how to play. There are a myriad of rhythms to play along with! Sometimes I just turned on the metronome and worked on my timing. Recording, once I finally got it going is multitrack, you can be your own band! I've layered drums, bass, guitar, piano and harp and still have half a dozen tracks left, if I do choose! I plug in but you can take it along with you as it will run on batteries if needed. I will add a caveat. You'll need time to learn all there is to work with. And there's a lot! But if you want something without having to constantly add to, this is it! You'll be playing and learning for life!(no joke!)

This is a great keyboard for those looking for something that's both quality and cost effective. It has a plethora of sounds and features MIDI, which greatly expands this workstation's capabilities! The included accessories appear to be of quality as well, except for the headphones which arrived broken for me. Though they were broken, I'm not upset as they appeared to be of terrible quality to begin with and certainly would not of held up to what I would have put them through anyway.

It was a lot bigger, than I thought. I was so use to a small keyboard, I had when I was a kid, so that was I nice surprise. I'm still a beginner, and have been playing it for a couple of days now, and I enjoy it a lot.

This feature alone is extremely useful in live performances, when you haven't had time to program or make notes. The wide variety of smooth, realistic tones is fantastic. The touch is very excellent, from almost a weighted-tine feel on pianos to great free-wheeling brass and strings. From studio creations to live performances, you simply cannot beat the quality for the price.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I was surprised on how fast it arrived. It’s not too big and bulky so we can pack it around if we needed to. There’s so much content on YouTube that it will make it easy if we ever needed some help navigating through all the options. Can’t wait for her to open it and watch her little face light up with joy.

The keys itself stand out. I've only been playing for a short time, but like keys that are easy touching. Our church has a Yamaha, but the keys are just harder for me to push. I started on a Casio for about 12 years and I love their style, sound and because to me anyway, easiest to learn about them. Since I'm not an expert on these machines, I like to feel comfortable, so about three months i, I am.Love the payment plan and quickness of American Musical does its business. Thank you again, John

My opinions about my keyboard station I’m real happy good brand and easy to play I’m glad the I’m find a place like American Musical because that’s the place the I find everything I need plus they give me the chance the get my gears on credit when is a lot of places the don’t give you the opportunity the have the gear the we need because not everybody got the money instantly and since I find out about American Musical I’m 1000% faithful customer plus the people working there real respectful thanks American Musical for give me a chance thank You.

sounds as good as my triton korg, its worth more than you think..casio,, is becoming so good, by making it easy to play,you can use other monitors, instead of the built in ones, I ues my Yamaha monitors,it will blow you away,, better than most work stations, that cost over the $ 1,ooo dollar range,i play it on stage,& most people think im playing a high end keyboard,enough said,, it's just great,, don't let the name fool you, this is a pro board in my opinion,
