Very well made. Jacks fit well and the gold plating makes a good solid connection. The cord is a little stiff out of the box but it is not annoying and softens up a little bit with use. It seems to bring out tones I never noticed with a less expensive cord. I would purchase again and it is worth the money.

I’ve used CBI cables before and they’ve never let me down. The tone of my bass rig comes through flawless. I would highly recommend these cables.

Well made. High quality phone plugs, gold plated, good soldering, strain relief.

Good armor on cable, heat shrink strain relief attaches shielded cable firmly to gold plated phone plugs. Lay them out flat for awhile to allow the woven cable covering to straitened out from the packaged position. Feels roadworthy and we’ll made.

Does the job, well made

The first thing I did was to unscrew the plug ends to look at the solder job, perfect in all respects.
Connections are well soldered. I bought this cable as I realized at high volume that the cheap cable I was using temporarily was making all kinds of noise when I moved as the cable moved against the floor. None of that noise with this cable and I do detect a lot sharper high end from using this cable.
It's pretty easy, plug it into the guitar at one end and the other end goes into my effects rack. Presto, it works great.
I love the color, the quality and good signal I get from this cable, I'd suggest it to anyone wanting a good quality cool looking cable. It's held up well at home and live gigs. I've been playing music live for 43 years.

Save your money....

I bought several of these cables in about 2006. I have used them on a weekly basis now for the past couple of years. I thought when I bought them I was getting a great product. Now, two years later, I know I was wrong and I am replacing ALL of them.
I found absolutely NO good features about these cords that were even worth mentioning. You would think that the gold plugs would give you better sound representation, or that the extra wrapping around the cords might offer better durability. I personally felt that it did not. I have owned some Whirlwind cords that I have used for well over ten years without a hitch.
These cords were a problem from day one.
Because of the cloth winding around the cords, I discovered that the cords twisted more than a normal cord such as Whirlwind, and they stayed "kinked" and knotted much more overall. Let's face it.. all cords are going to tangle up on stage when setting up, using them, and packing up... but these were the absolute worst. They were much less flexible than a normal guitar cord and added a little extra "drag" sort of feel from my guitars on stage during performances which I found rather cumbersome. Also, I should further mention that almost since my first week of using them I have had to constantly stop and solder the plugs back onto the cords almost every other week. One of the cords that I had ordered even came in with the plug needing soldering before I could ever use it for the first time.
Be smart. Don't let the "fancy" look of these cords take your hard earned money. Musicians are not a rich bunch of folks to begin with, so spend your hard earned money on a standard looking cord and in my personal opinion you will be much happier overall and glad you did. When I see these cords in the product catalog and/or on the website ... well, I just rather shudder at the fact of how stupid I was to buy them to begin with. Live and learn, I guess.

Very Classy Well Made Cable For The Money

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
This is a very well made cable. The woven outer jacket is very tough and helps keep the cable from kinking. The cable ends are top notch. As far as looks go, this is a very classy looking cable.
FEATURES:
Feature wise I guess I would have to point out the quality of construction and components. As cables in this price range go, you can't do much better than this.
EASE OF USE:
Plug up and play.
VALUE:
This is excellent value for your money. This cable would compare favorably to any other cable in it's price range and several that are more expensive.
SOUND:
As coaxial cables go, it doesn't seem to color my guitar sound in a negative way. This cable features Belden cable, an industry standard.
