Replaced speakers in my Fender 100 Champion with v-type 75w and this puppy! Was thinking of buying a tube amp but now there is no reason to! And for a $280 upgrade I saved at least a few hundred dollars and it’s a totally different sounding amp! It purrs and screams with the lead 80 and v-type! Modeling amps are just as good if not better than a tube amp with these 2 speakers! I’m glad I made this choice!

I like my mids scooped, so when I learned this has a high mid frequency response, I thought I made a mistake and was lil bummed at first...I was wrong. Crank ur amp up and this sucker turns into a whole new speaker!! I used EQ to get my tone where I like it and it is a lead guitarists delight. It performs wonderful on clean channel and is second to none on hi gain channel. I put it in marshall dsl20cr and The louder u crank it, and especially on dirty channel, this speaker excels. Very pleased, I do recommend especially for lead guitar metal heads like meself.
