Won't bother you with the gory details I upgraded from. But I will say that the Crown XLI amp is great. Sound is awesome. Been using much less overall volume than my old amp setup (that was rated similar) and the Crown sounds much louder and clearer. It has the in/output ports I need and has made itself a permanent home in the rack. I should have upgraded a long time ago.

This is the first Real "Pro/Level" power-amp of its kind i have owned.Versatile in its Output/input connectivity,and a (8ohm-4ohm) power delivery is sufficient for me. Just purchased. What strikes me most about this power-amp is it's perceptively quiet in operation. That transfers to "Smooth"in my opinion. I like Smooth. It's "Heavy", I like heavy.. that tells me "there's something in it". No doubt, I believe I chose "Correct" when I chose "Crown". I truly recommend "The Crown" for your Amplified needs.
I also recommend A.M.S. to you. I've been with them for years. i could not express enough to them just what they mean to me, and how i am most Grateful for their Dedication to Service and making musical aspirations and dreams come true.. Thank You A.M.S.

The amp is well suited for powering my 4 JBL 12h 8ohm stage monitors. The amp is fairly heavy as most amps in this class.

The sound coming out of my speakers now is incredible. Now my neighbors have a chance to enjoy the same music I listen to. This thing is powerful and my speakers are much happier!
