Set up was a snap. I am using it to power 2 subwoofers. Low pass is a god send on this unit. Just pick your frequency and you’re off to the races. It’s like getting a free crossover for any speaker you need to power.

Love the built in DSPs in these Crown XLS series. Make them extra flexible when integrating into existing systems.
Grabbed this one to cover everything from monitors to mains for a home live/practice system and happy I did!

I have the Crown XLS 1002 powering four EV ELX 12s in my bar and it is doing an incredible job! Easy to set up. Pushes the speakers easily, and sounds great! It's incredible what this one amp can do! Would buy again!

I chose this amp because of its size, weight and the reputation of crown. I could not be more happy. Used to power the bands main vocals, it provides a nice clean sound with plenty of power and headroom. It also has nice crossover features for future use of more speakers or subs. If you want a great amp, I recommend this one for sure.

I've been a fan of both Crown and JBL for many decades. I bought the XLS 1002 as a replacement for a Crown DC-150. This amp has a bit more uumph per channel, but who doesn't like headroom?
I was bit nervous going to these Class D amps. But after reading so many positive reviews I figured it was worth a shot.
Well....No worries. It's quite, stays nice and cool and makes my JBL speakers sing like they haven't done for years.
If anyone has any doubts about the XLS series, don't. And if the 1002 is a bit too small, they make several more powerful versions that should satisfy anyone. The XLS 2002 is on my list as my upcoming birthday (July is upcoming, right?) present to me!

I use this for my secondary pair of passive monitors. This thing just does its job. It's clean, quiet and provides PLENTY of power for them. I highly recommend when using for passive devices in the studio. Awesome!!!

Amazing... When I first got it, the weight scared me because it's light and you would think "lightweight" equals light quality. Boy was I wrong. Love the power, the features, the look of it, all of these things. I am amazed, thrilled, and looking to add another model.

A good product for the price I paid. This was not the most powerful amp out there,but worked good for the speakers I was driving with it. The first one I recieved was defective but I called and as soon as American musical could see I had shipped it back to them they sent me a replacement. Also nice to be able to buy on credit and not have to go thru the hassles of credit checking. Overall a very responsive company tailoring to the consumers needs. Will definitely use again and again.

Very light, easy to use and navigate the menu. Low noise and plenty of power for my needs. I use it for guitar and bass amplification with a Mackie mixer for a preamp.
