You need this humidifier in the winter when the air gets dry. Acoustic guitars will dry out and potentially sustain damage if not properly humidified. These humidifiers do the job at a great price. I have one for each of my acoustic guitars and they are great and so easy to use.

This is a nice way to keep your acoustic guitars hydrated. I live in the mountains of NW GA and the humidity levels are friendly to guitars. So long as you keep your house in a reasonable comfort zone you generally don't have to worry about hydration. I track the relative humidity inside and utilize the product when the house becomes very dry. This is a nice product to keep your guitar happy and well hydrated.

This is the most inexpensive and effective tool if you own a top line acoustic. All you need to do place inside the sound hole after simply dampening the sponge in warm water.

This is a simple to use a humidifier that places the humidity where it will be the most useful, inside the instrument. However, it is somewhat easy to overfill, and have water introduced into the guitar. Still, I would recommend it, with that caveat.

I live in a home with forced hot air for heating and that is usually a killer for acoustic guitars. This product keeps my guitar at just the right humidity to protect it and helps keep it right in tune since humidity is kept at a constant when the guitar isn't in use. I will definitely purchase another one for my next acoustic!

I bought this humidifier system expecting a product like the one marketed by Music Nomad. What I got was a crudely designed piece of plastic with a cheap sponge encased in a hard-to-open-and-close piece of plastic that I hated the second I saw it. I tried to return it, but the rep just credited my account and allowed me to keep it. I’m currently trying to think of an enemy that plays guitar that I can dump this product on.

This Thing takes little to no effort for a case humidifier. I got this thing sent to me in a recent purchase and was a little skeptical at first adding water to a sponge and having it sit on my strings hanging inside the guitar, But I have to say This thing does what it is designed to do and I haven't seen any water droplets anywhere on the inside of the guitar itself so my worries are at rest. Very Easy to use and will be getting more later with my next purchases as well.

I use various types of humidifiers for my cased stuff here in the desert. This one (w/a thin household type sponge) dries out pretty fast and needs checking/rewetting often. Also, it gets funky if you don't use purified/distilled water. I wouldn't buy it again. I prefer the denser poly-foam and even the clay.
