Product Review This is the second time I've ordered these for other guitars I own. Work good but it is so hot here they have to be filled every couple of days. But my guitars are in better shape because of them.

Safe, secure way to humidify your guitar.

Product Review I like the secure cap on top of the D'Addario humidifier. The cap retains the high density sponge which holds the water to humidify your guitar. The D'Addario is hung between the D & G string of the guitar. This design allows the moisture to get to the interior and exterior of the guitar. The humidifiers that I used for years block the sound hole of the guitar. Another brand made with fabric I've had leaked at the seam. When received the sponge was hard and stiff. It took a while working with my fingers for the sponge to soften and absorb water. The D'Addario Pro works great and are now in all of my guitars. I would recommend that you try/buy one and give it a chance.

Product Review Holds a lot of water so you don't have to change it too often. Definitely make sure to squeeze out any water so it can't drip. It's great for an analog solution for Michigan winters. If you don't need a digital reading on humidity to ensure a precise level, this works great.

Product Review At home, our humidity level is fine during the Pennsylvania winter months. But when I take my instruments to other venues, I like to be sure they’re protected. These D’Addario Humidifier Pros do the trick. Easy to use, no leaks, and very effective!

Product Review I’ve used sponge-styled humidifiers before to varying degrees of effectiveness. This prevents moisture from making contact with wood. It’s sturdy. This handy unit spreads the D & G strings a little, but it’s not an issue. I purchased two, but I need to get two more.

HYDRATION HYDRATION HYDRATION

Product Review This new sponge included in the new D'Addario GHP Pro seems like a little white brick but once you give it a thorough soak it seems to pack and hold a serious amount of glorious H20. It holds a lot more hydration power than the typical sponge. For me, I learned the hard way about hydration when my beautiful acoustic guitar I loved started to "dry rot" and all the glue joints were brittle and giving way. Don't let this happen to you! This is a must do procedure if you care about the longevity and play-ability of your acoustic instrument. It's simple, straight forward and I prefer it to the other types of hydration systems that use a chemical gooey mess like Gorilla snot to hold the water. Works great I understand until it doesn't and I personally know a friend who had a gooey leak practically ruin an expensive acoustic bass guitar. This is safer, simpler to use (just add water), make sure to give it a gentle squeeze to avoid dripping and place it into the container, snap the lid and place it in-between the G & D string. Bang! Your done. Check your guitar once a week and re hydrate as necessary depending on your particular climate. Your guitar will love you back!

Product Review If you want to keep your guitar humidifier, buy this. D'Addario has become experts on humidifiers. VERY easy to use. The sponge keeps the moister for about three weeks. It's all good.

Product Review Good for humidifying you acoustics. Quality sponge, casing doesn’t leak into guitar cavity. Smaller than the Nomad version so you have to wet more often. Nothing can replace a room humidifier.

Product Review I have purchased 3 similar humidifiers, this one comes in second. It has the "super absorbent " sponge. And a "snug fit" top, that is a bit difficult, but preferable to # 3, with a regular sponge and a bit more difficult top in it's own way to open and close. #1 of course has a flip top, a larger super absorbent sponge, thicker plastic, easy to use, flip top, how unique! You do get what you pay for, this unit falls in between the other two.

Product Review Easy to use, the sponges are little bricks when they are new and need to soak for a while to be spongy. They work great and keep the guitars humidified in the cases.

Product Review Easy to use and worth every cent to keep your guitar in tip top shape. Don't wait until your instrument suffers a catastrophic wood failure. Buy this and use it now especially is you have dry, forced air heat!
