I love their Phosphor Bronze strings, but put these on my Taylor just to try them out, and the nickel option didn't work well for me. Not my type of string tone, but I think if you are looking for comfort and playing an acoustic part in a band or lead acoustic guitar, you may like that they seem to be a little more comfortable in playing.

Super sparkly overtones unplugged on an Eastman E10SS adi-hog slope shoulder (J45) 24.5" scale. But what really makes these shine over my usual EJ16S is how balanced they sound plugged in using an LR Baggs M1Active. The nickel just works better than phosphor bronze with magnetic pickup.
This set is a 12-52 so it's a little lighter on the bottom than the EJ16s. But it doesn't feel so tight on the bottom and they don't rattle on the frets. My guitar became almost effortless to play while still being stable enough to handle a heavy boomchuck.
I love these strings!
