Yes, these are dependable strings. Do they sound better, or stay in tune better than other quality strings that are priced lower? I haven't seen any evidence of that, but if you like to baby your extended range guitars, then these strings will serve you well.

Buy these...until Elixir comes out with something “newer” I’ll keep buying these. I’d be surprised if these NY’s ever come in second place...they are truly sweet strings that will last and most importantly outlast the competition...hell yeah D’Addario !! Great product. Great strings...excuse my French but they are kick ass...I’m a fan. For Life.
