Not a "push button" but better in my opinion

1) A thing of beauty. When I opened the box I was not prepared to see such a beautiful item. Felt like a high school girl at prom - "are these for me!!!"
2) I hate the alternative push button type connectors that stick out. Ugly and awkward. Throw 'em in the trash when these arrive (I did).
3) Just to clarify, these do NOT attached via a "push button" type action. Instead, you hook them on and tighten the knob to secure the hook mechanism.
4) As another reviewer said, the black is more of a shiny smoky black. Just be aware. I personally love the color

I initially purchased these strap locks to try on one of my Gibson Les Pauls. These seemed to “stick out” less than other models. They work well and I have had no issues. I purchased enough of these to outfit all my guitars.

I bought these for one of my Les Paul's. And let me just say, I might switch all of my guitars over to these locks. They look great and seem secure enough, and hook up is a breeze.

So far it has worked great and the locks haven't worn out and keep the guitar strapped tight. Registering the product D'Addario mantioned that it had no record of the product and file a counterfeit product report. Contacted AMS and they simply aske dme to keep them updated with what D'Addario responded (which I havent heard back from either since [ordered 11/2018]).

These strap locks were easy to install both on the guitar and on the strap. The screws provided are standard size so no drilling is required. The lock mechanism fits perfectly on the strap and is simple to operate. If you want a low profile strap lock system then this is the one for you. I purchased the gold finish to match my guitars hardware.

Clever design, works well, looks slick; but not exactly *black*, more of a smoked chrome. White felt washers with "black" buttons seems like a bit of a head scratcher. Certainly does the job well, though.
