Alpha omega definitely has lived up to the hype! Growls and snarls!! I love the two distortions. The three band eq is an awesome feature. I can really dial in my tone super easy and am gig ready. Records well and sound amazing. Love this thing.

The Darkglass Alpha Omega was exactly what I was looking for in a distortion pedal.
You can dial in exactly the tone you want, as much as you want. With the "Blend" feature, you no longer need a splitter to get your straight signal mixed with your distorted tone, just blend it how you want it.
You want screaming overdriven distortion? Dial right. You want clean with a bit of bite? Dial left.
It's that simple. With a balanced output you can go directly into the mixer or a line out to go to your amp.
The Darkglass Alpha Omega is all you need.

I've Been trying to get that Geddy Lee, Chris Squire,
dUg Pinnick Bass Bite forever. This Pedal does all those sounds and more. The ability to blend is one of the great things about getting that "sound". And the difference Between Alpha and Omega can get a wider tone shift as well as bite/growl. No Hiss, No Buzz, No Noise. Selecting the Growl and Bite toggle switch will give you just a bitter. I love the pedal. Its been a couple of weeks now, I have now re-record bass lines I thought were good, Now they're great. Really makes the bass cut threw the mix and stand out. For live you do have to have a good set of speakers that can handle that kind of drive. Also be very lite on the level of the drive. A little pricey But I think its worth it..
Remember A little gain goes a long way.

This bass distortion pedal really is the alpha/omega of pedals. Nothing even compares that I have found so far. At first it seems steep on price (just general pedal pricing) but I see it like this;the amount is like a monthes car payment I have had it for two months and have gotten my money out of it within two weeks of owning it and it is still in mint condition and has years shelf life left. Amazing job darkglass, I will be purchasing more DG pedals in the future

Switch broke after 10 months of light use, Darkglass farmed warranty and repair to Korg USA who has no plan of action to handle warranty and repairs. Way overpriced junk, don't buy.

Couldn’t ask for a better distortion pedal. Detailed parameters shape your sound to whatever suits your needs. Only downside was it required me to buy a power supply but that tends to be commonplace for higher end pedals. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to add a beautiful crunch to their bass effects pool.
