This is actually a review of my replacement Dean Koa. My first was was wonderful, but the electronic tuner died. I called customer service and I was in contact with Mariah. Not only was she very helpful she was very knowledgeable. I just asked about the tuner and she said a replacement would be sent without any hassle. She emailed me a return authorization and once the first guitar was sent, the new on was sent to me. It arrived in three days and this time the packing was super. The Koa top was a lighter color and the grain is outstanding. The action was spot on,all the electronics worked. The neck was straight and not a blemish anywhere. The only thing I had to do was dress the fretboard. It sounds great acoustically and with the amp. I am more than pleased with the Dean, but with AMS.U

I love this guitar it plays very well and stays in tune well. The built in tuner is great and it also sounds great plugged in. My one pet peve is that the sliders on the tuner make a buzzing sound that makes it hard to concentrate when making more quit music. Everything else about this guitar I have loved so far!

Received this guitar today and it much nicer than I expected. The Koa and gloss sound board is beautiful. And the sound with or without the electronics is very full. No buzz with the strings. I’ll write more after I have it for awhile. One complaint was the packaging. It was double boxed but very skimpy on the packing. Luckily there was no damage to the containers or the guitar.

As a writer, this guitar gives me a quality tone and playability to accurately compose new ideas. The onboard tuner keeps me in concert pitch at all times and the professional set-up made this a working guitar and writing/performance tool from the minute it arrived.. Thanks AMS

To me for $250 it's a great entry level acoustic guitar with a built in tuner with a active controls. The color is darker than the picture, I was hoping for that. Looks fantastic! I'm feeling pro already, ha!
