Frets are a bit rough, electronics are just ok, finish is good, and the neck is sweet. Best thing is the intonation is pretty much on. It's just over 4 feet long so be prepared.

Sounds and feels great. It is my first Dean product and I was really surprised at how good it sounded for the price.

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
This bass is everything it says it is, and more. I didn't know it had volume, and tone sliders built in. This bass will last me a lifetime. Would have preferred it to have a shinny laquered finish, instead of the satin finish. It still looks great though.
FEATURES:
Best feature is how easy it is to play. I haven't played a bass guitar in over 25 years. It has the best of both worlds. It's plenty loud to keep up with acoustic guitars, and it's electirc feature makes it great to amp, or in my case plug into my digital recorder.
EASE OF USE:
Nice action, and with the cutaway, you can play up two octives per string.
VALUE:
Great price for this guitar. This is the only acoustic/electric bass I've found in it's price range. It's easily worth more.
SOUND:
The sound is great plugged in or not. I run it through my Peavey acoustic amp, and into my Fostex MR-8mk2 digital recorder.
