Best neck pickup ever.

Product Rating Great pickup. Had it a month so far and zero issues. Your general opinion of this product. Put this pickup in the neck position of my Epi LP. Cleaned the mud right out of my tone. Bright pickup but still warm enough for some very mellow cleans. Responds very well to the volume knob. This pickup exceded my expectations. Was the perfect pickup for my Epi LP. Beatiful tone without being too "bassy". Bright pickup in the bridge but perfect for neck.

Great Neck Pup

Never had a problem. Your general opinion of this product. I find the PAF Pro to be the best neck pup out there. I have tried some others, but always seem to come back to the PRO. It takes away that muddy sound and really cuts thru the mix. I find it is too bright for the bridge but that's just me. It works well with a Tone Zone in the bridge. This one is going into the neck of a ESP/LTD MH1000 with a Duncan JB in the bridge. Bright with heavy mids. A really nice "aw" vowel sound.

Perfect neck pickup

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Perfect build quality, flawlessly packaged. Aesthetically the best open-coil pickup.

FEATURES:
Easy installation, and it sounds warm, rich, and beautiful in series humbucking mode. With appropriate shielding (extra work) and coil tap, it's a focussed, glassy neck pickup too.

EASE OF USE:
It's easy to install and plays fantastically. The included literature is a good start, but you'll need to look up more specific wiring diagrams. Watch the colours! Also: Doesn't come with its own springs.

VALUE:
This product is absolutely worth the price! The smoothest neck pickup I've used, with all the focus and punch necessary when split, plus perfect build quality.

SOUND:
The sound is smooth and rich, rolling over nicely into fuzz territory when overdriven. Split, it gains crystalline treble and glassy, bell-like clarity. Not high output but expressive for the tone connoisseur.
