I used to own the older 535q that used the twin 9v batteries. I loved it, until it was stolen. I've heard demos and previewed the upgraded 535q and this is a 2.0 ver of that pedal! If versatility is what you want without a rack based wah, this is the one to get.

I bought this Cry Baby because I thought it would be interesting and I had a few bucks to spare. I'm an intermediate guitarist that thought a wah pedal was just a gimmick appropriate for certain situations. I was wrong. There is so much adjustability that can shape the sound to your taste. I play thru it at all times and I am still experimenting with it. I know there are more wah pedals out there, but if anyone asks me for a pedal that is well built, sounds good and has a great price, I'm going to recommend the 535Q.

I viewed several youtube videos and reviews before I finally purchased this pedal. I am so glad that I did. It's like for years I thought that other than a minor adjustment (going inside the pedal) the tone and the range is same. On the fly and for selected songs I can change the tonal range with a quick turn of an outside knob. The boost means that I'm not going to lose any punch on my solos. I'm like a kid with a fantastic new toy, I have a choice for what kind of genre I'm playing, hard or soft, with or without distortion, too much fun. The only problem I would have if I had to go back to a regular pedal. Dunlop put there best in this wah wah pedal. So worth the extra price. Even if you only use two or three selections, that is still two or three different pedals. Why settle? Find your tone.

I used to own the standard crybaby, but this newly modified version sounds so much better; I'm glad I bought it, be sure to get the ECB003 AC power supply as well so you don't blow through batteries!

This wah is in my opinion the best one they put out it allows the user to dial in whatever sound you can imagine with the variable EQ as well volume switch and added gain, if you can think it you can make it.

I almost bought a different wah and I'm glad I didn't. Most versatile wah I've used. If you like to mix things up by trying different sounds and tones instead of getting stuck with a single wah sweep, get this!

The treadle on mine will rock back ever so slightly when left in a "stuck" position. I'm sure it's easy enough to fix but I don't really use it like that so no big deal.
Haven't had it long enough to know.
I've got mine dialed in perfectly.

Very nice! Good quality parts and very good tones.
I haven't had it very long but I have a feeling nothing will go wrong. Nothing has happened to it and it is a great pedal. It is made of very good quality metal and the input/output are very good too.

great pedal! very pleased. i would probably have to put a prive tag of 199.99 on this but its surprisingly cheap for its great quality. definitely worth the buy!
Not much of a paint job, but I am a fan of the plain black metal.
The same as it is now! It is really good! It will always be the first pedal on my board.

The quality is very good I would say this product will last many years.

QUALITY:
Very well made, nice and rugged. I purchased a dent & scratch model and there seems to be nothing wrong with it at all.
FEATURES:
Features allow for a variety of sounds, can be used for everything from 80's disco-style to screaming metal solos to mellow swells. My only complaint is that the Q and Gain knobs are small so it's hard to make fine adjustments.
EASE OF USE:
Easy to use, very straightforward.
VALUE:
I purchased a $90 scratch & dent model. Excellent value.
SOUND:
Sounds amazing! My only complaint is a deafening pop if you adjust the frequency while playing clean (distortion makes it a bit less harsh).

Don't look any further with the other wahs. Dunlop crybabys are the best believe me cause I have used many wahs in my life. So far the 535Q sounds the best with my paul and marshall set up.
