Easy to use & to dial in a great phase shift accent. Great sound and boost the volume slightly. Only 1 knob proves the manufacturer is confident about the sound. Absolutely should be in the Rock-N-Roll hall of fame

I was looking for a real phaser pedal for my guitars and synths, but older Maestro pedals cost more than I could afford, so I decided to try the MXR pedal which I knew about. The pedal has a great sound that immediately effect your instrument. To me, the phasing works well, sounds good, ands the things you want on your sounds. This pedal works great so I highly recommend the MXR Phase 90.

It's no wonder why many use the MXR phase 90; it sounds great! I personally really like the simple, one knob operation as well. I own the EVH version as well, along with the Whirlwind Orange Box. They all have their subtle differences, but this (least expensive) option, hangs with the others just fine in the mix. If you're wondering which one to get, it almost comes down to which one looks the coolest to you; they all sit really well in the band mix.

There are many versions of the Phase 90 (including a two stage Phase 45, an eight stage etc.), but the M-101 includes an on/off LED, four stage phase, and an adapter socket. One switch, and one can be (foot controlled) knob, so it's really hard not to get that historic swirling fluffy sound. I recommend it for guitar, bass, keyboard players and even vocalists everywhere.

One thing you can always be sure of is that the MXR Phase 90 will always deliver. Simple to use (one knob!), great tone, and that VH sound! Well worth the price of admission! Will always hold a spot on my board.

It's a big sound for a small box....I only wished the power input was in front instead of on it's side. Other than that....no complaints.
