Everything you loved about the Carbon Copy, plus everything that was missing

Product Review
I’ve been a loving user of the original Carbon Copy for a decade. So when it came time to add a modern-featured delay to my board (tap tempo, subdivisions), this was a no-brainer. The sound I love is there—namely those delicious, warm repeats, and a very modulation switch. But there’s also another switch to put you in Carbon Copy Bright mode, delivering clearer, brighter repeats. This is perfect for me, because my original CC aims still an always-on fixture on the board, and I can get the clarity of the Bright in my more audible, subdivided repeats, and then wash those in the darker sound of the original without causing a mud bath. It is truly glorious.
But what I love most of all? The simplicity of the original is still here, too. Obviously, there are a few extra features, but using the thing is still dead simple, and I couldn’t ask for more.

Works. On board chorus is the only one that I have ever used, that does not sound like a ethereal synthesizer. Actually provides a chorus. The notes sing like a violin, with a compressor in the loop.

This delay can do a lot of different sounds very well. So much control over functions. It is very clean sounding very hifi delay engines. I use mine on several songs with my band and have gotten many good comments from other Bass players on how the delay sounds and several now also have bought this delay

The original Carbon Copy has always been my favorite sounding delay. Now it's even better with more tonal options, and more importantly tap tempo!!

Product Review
I bought this to replace my Fender Mirror Image Delay pedal. I have a few other MXR pedals I really like and heard great things about the original Carbon Copy, so I gave this one a go.
I love it, I am more than satisfied.
at 1200ms of delay time, tap division and tap tempo it covers a wide pallet of options the player can choose from. The delay is crystal clear, and sounds great, but it can also be adjusted to your liking with the bright switch, mix, speed and width etc.. It is easy to use, easy to tailor to your playing needs and doesnt take a ton of space off your baord (it is roughly 1.5x the size of the original carbon). I highly recommend it for any style/genre you would play.

I highly recommend this delay pedal. The Carbon Copy is an amazing delay, but this moves to a new level with more controlling features.
