Delay pedals I've ever used in 58 years of playing guitar.
The wide range of delay that you can get from this pedal is pretty amazing. From just the slightest slap back to as crazy and far out that you could possibly want to put delay pedal to do this pedal does it. It does it quietly and it doesn't affect the tone of the guitar it just gives you what you're looking for in a beautiful analog delay

I had a old Boss digital delay years back, so Im not giving you my 2 cents on my first delay pedal. The tone of this pedal is the best Ive heard. It might not do all the tricks other delays do, but it does everything I want with sweet smooth warm analog tone! My only minor complaint is the blue led light is absolutely blinding. Even in my bedroom with the light on the light is hard to look at. Im covering the bulb with a small piece of blue painters tape to solve this. Like all MXR pedals its built like a tank!

I got this pedal because I wanted some delay, I can say this is one of the best delays I’ve ever tried. The sound is so clear and the ‘mod’ option gives it a chorus like effect. Only downside is that it doesn’t have tap tempo, but I don’t really need it. This is an amazing pedal!

I’ve owned boutique analog delay pedals and the Carbon Copy delay is as good if not better than delays far more expensive! It’s simple to use and sounds amazing. My experience with American Musical Supply is 2nd to none! Customer service is fantastic, deliver is fast and most importantly their products are always delivered in the condition you would expect! What can I say that has not been said about this pedal? A superb piece of equipment from MXR, this thing allows you to go from a faint echo, to a non-stop trance loop. The modulation function really helps put this device over the top, this is without a doubt the single best analog delay pedal out there, and is a legend for a reason.

I chose this pedal because I didn’t want another Boss DD whatever. I’m glad I went with the Carbon Copy because, to my ear, the tone of the analog circuit just sounds much more natural than the digital choices.

I did a lot of research on delay pedals. (About a month of YouTube and reading reviews). I actually had used this one at my friends before too. So eventually decided on this one. It makes beautiful sounds and is simple to use. I especially love it while on clean tone. But def is great for some leads and solos too. There’s a reason this is one of the major gotos for delay pedals.

Great analog delay. I've tried many lower quality delays and was often disappointed. Purchased this and it is beautifully clear. I tend to use it for slap back. Also the modulation feature is a huge plus. I have it set "slow" and "wide" and it adds a nice subltle phase/chorus like effect, which tends to fatten up the tone a bit.

This is a fantastic pedal in every way. It has the most warm and emotional decay I've personally ever experienced from a contemporary stomp box, not to mention the small footprint and financial burden when compared to some of it's sonic peers. Super durable and road-worthy enclosure. The sparkly forest green color is pretty darn sweet too. After gigging and recording with mine for about a year now, I'm planning on purchasing another one soon for an extra setting without adjusting. MXR, please make the double carbon copy!!

Still breaking it in. But it's much nicer than the $15 one I replaced (you know which one).I don't get the weird whirring sound when the box is off like the cheaper ones are prone to. This is a pro box. And I was pleasantly surprised to see made in the US. Why don't they put that in the catalog?!!

Warm, round, and smooth are probably the three best words to describe this pedal.
I have been to combat 6 times. This thing would make it through that mess. In the event of a nuclear war, there will only be Twinkies and MXR pedals left.
The controls are nice, big, solid knobs.
Silky warm smooth as silk.
It took me about 45 seconds out of the box to get this thing dialed in

I think I will be handing this pedal down to my son so he can sell it on eBay in 50 years as a "classic" for like a million bitcoins or maybe a few gallons of water. (who knows in 50 years!)

The Carbon Copy is my first delay, so I did a bunch of research before buying. I've also owned other MXRs so I knew the quality and durability would be top notch. The CC might not have as many features as some of the digital delays but the sound is thick and clear, like the name implies you get perfect copies.
I dig the paint.
Like others have said the LEDs are really bright.

I'm very impressed, which says a lot coming from a guy who generally doesn't go in for stomp boxes.
Solid and heavy like a small brick....ergonomic and efficient to use.
Natural, open, rich and velvety, adds a lot of atmosphere.
Appearance is a guilty pleasure. I stand accused. This pedal rates high on the cool scale. The finish is not only beautiful, it's high quality. The paint is glossy and durable.

I bought the T-Rex Replica and the Boss DD3 and have all 3 on my board. I went through about 5 other high end boutique pedals all averaging from $300-$500 in price for a solid analog delay and this pedal blew them all out of the park. I find myself using this pedal more than any other delay when in studio or live. Easy to use. Simple to adjust on the fly which makes this stand out. The last thing you want to do is waste your time with banks, settings, editing, saving, tapping this or that, you need to play and adjust on the fly FAST and this pedal will allow you to do so. That feature alone makes this pedal stand out above all the others in a saturated market of pedals.

I enjoy the awesome analog/tape delay feel this pedal has and it will not disappoint you because it will not color your tone it will simply add the effect and then if you want some color then flick on the very cool subtle mod switch.
I would prefer some more vintage or boutique in style because for such a cool pedal why not make it look cool too? I find that the dark green actually hides the pedal on the board. Although if you are artistic and want to get creative then do you own custom paint job because this one will be a keeper.

This pedal is built like a tank. Nice finish, durable knobs. The analog delay is great.... you can play with it for hours. And since it is analog you can get a bunch of cosmic sounds from this thing by turning the knobs while you're sustaining chords.

This thing like all MXR pedals I have ever owne is rock solid sturdy construction. The switch is quiet and solid. The finish is just plain cool in green sparkle with really bright blue led "on" indicators.
This one is new to me, but I have no doubt it will be around a very long time.

This is one of the best analog pedals out there for the price. Very easy to use. I use the setup examples the came with the pedal. From slap-back to super long delays and everything in between. Sounds great!!!!!!!!
I use Gretschs, Teles, Strats, Pauls, and even cheap guitars thru this before going to old Fender tube amps. Makes everything sound better. Been playing for 30+ yrs. Blah, Blah, Blah. What I'm trying to say is GO BUY THIS PEDAL!!!!!!!!

like analog delays the tone will brighten up as you shorten the delay time(counter-clockwise) with the delay knob. Just the opposite (clockwise) will give you a rich, lush, darker tone with longer dealys. It really does a good job!
