I was looking for a detuner pedal for a tribite band im in. When i started to play around i realized it is more than just a detuner, its an octaver/ harmonizer as well. If you only have one guitarist in a band if u use the setting correctly u can sound like there is 2 guitars doing rythm and or harmonize solos

This is a very interesting pedal to expand the tones of your guitar. You can make it sound like a bass or even octave higher. Just name a few you can make it play a major 3, minor 3, perfect 4 and 5th and more than that over the note you are playing. It's like someone is playing with you. Well worth the money. Recommend just to give yourself some ideas on expanding the band. For example if I have it on perfect 4th. It will give me idea on how if a keyboard would sound playing along in the fourth of my notes. One example, also what 2 guitars would sound like in unison.

the possibilities seem endless and have added dimensions to my sonic pallette. From the sound of two or more guitars playing together octaves apart to a full on synth-organ sound. Still exploring it.

I haven't been able to stop playing with this pedal since I got it! From laying down bass lines in a loop, to thunderous doom tones with heavy gain, this thing does it all! The tracking is superb and when you use an expression pedal it unlocks even more crazy tonal possibilities!

I purchased this pedal to detune my guitar very quickly because I play with a worship team at a church that changes tunings very often. In my open ion it’s a good pedal for using the harmonys as an effect, but when you do a complete detune or capo with it, after about 4 semitones it gets a little phasey and unclear sounding as well as it increases the high end tonality a lot. I still enjoy this pedal very much, I’m just very limited with what I can do when using it to detune.

Why didn’t I get this long ago? Briallant device; use it largely with an acoustic for fuller performance at 1 octave, but with the electric is kicks. Can choose blend or high or low at all intervals. Seriously great pedal worth every cent. AMS delivered quickly and A+ company!!

This pedal will change the way you compose music for life. That simple enough said. Pair it with a moog expression pedal and GET READY FOR WHAMMY ACTION. Up down both does it all! I run two on my board and have already bought 3 of these. Ive owned a mini pog and while thats great for chords THIS slays for bass and guitar riffs. You all NEED pitchforks in your life for real.

Great pedal with cool features.
Used as a straight up drop tune pedal, it does the work, but there is an ever so slight touch of latency with signal.
When used as a harmony/pitch controller, it sounds great.
Adds new dimension to your tone.
I wanted it just for a 1/2 step drop tuner. Was not so satisfied with the overall effect, so went with a Digitech drop tune pedal instead.

Great pedal - built well like all Electro Harmonix products. Use this a lot for harmony leads. Like the "non-clicking" foot switch as well. High quality and great tone.
