I really like this pedal, but it will probably never get the use it deserves out of me. A bit overkill for me as I only use 1 preset ever. But man does it sound great.

Tons of different sounds available here. Organs, faux cello, 12 string, all the way to simple octave effects. If you're looking for something with cool textures, I'd recommend it highly.

I love Electro Harmonix products, and once again they did not fail to deliver. The tracking is great because, from what I understand, it takes your signal and does internal processing then outputs a reconverted signal to your chain as opposed to some previous methods of tracking that tended to leave audio artifacts and were less effective. If you want a great all-around octave pedal with a ton of flexibility, the POG2 is the one!

A friend showed me his POG II Sunday. I ordered it Monday. Got it Thursday! One day after Christmas!
I played with it for 2hrs, what an awesome pedal!
Sounds great and the most important thing for me is that it’s easy to use. Believe me if it was easy for me to navigate through it, than anybody can if you get my drift.....let me back up a little, something went wrong and my credit card was declined. So I called, someone answered right away. Problem solved reordered with the agent right on the spot....it took about 10mins. Hung up the phone and Booyah!

The Best Tracking of any octave pedal I have heard but Hi Priced

I used to have a HOG. It was really large and I only used the Octaves anyway. So.. I sold the HOG and and bought an AMS dent and Scratch POG2. I really do like the sound.. I split my Acoustic guitar signal with a Radial ABY box and run one side to the POG2 and then out to the Soundboard with it's very own channel. I get a very believable bass sound (and this is primarily what I use it for). However, I have experimented with some other sounds as well.
The Tracking is superior to any pedal out there (at least of the many I tried).
Construction is fantastic! Solid as rock!
Personally, I am not sure I would have bought it for this price (And for what I wanted to use it for).. The dent and scratch pricing that AMS offered is what inspired me to buy it..

Is really well built and the knobs are sturdy
the preset save well and consistent sound in every gig
Your general opinion of this product.
Is digital sounding yes .. but in the best way possible, it really does the 12 string guitar and organ sounds really well
Saving 8 presets really makes this a selling point !
with the q control and attack slider you can get any tone from dark to bright
really digging the red on white look
you have to tweak it to your liking
