I bought this with the intention of doing more ambient work on guitar and bass. The effect is cool but not as useful as I hoped. Please note that I have only had the product for a short time. Everything works as described. Using a remote footswitch to cycle between modes is a little slower than the mode button itself...not sure if that's my switch or just how it works.

Really fun to experiment with, it is easy to create lush sounds with the synth/sustainer, my only gripe is they should have made it to be able to save some settings. I would recommend getting an expression pedal so you can control the rotary and filter effects, it can be used stand alone with just effects or with the synth/sustainer, EHX did a great job on this one!

I bought this pedal after seeing a demo and it was love at first sight... or listening! The sounds and fx you can come up with, due to the endless combination is incredible! I use it mainly with my basses and it’s like having a real keyboard; what you can do with this pedal is only limited by your imagination; highly recommended!

Not your average stomp box for sure. I'm still figuring out musical uses for this pedal. It can act like a keyboard sustain pedal for your guitar, a slo-gear-ish style sweeping modulation, or just a strait up multi-fx pedal. They put so much in this box it's going to be a long time before I get through all of it.
The effects on their own are decent. Nothing out of the ordinary just fairly basic representations of what most of us have on our boards already. When you add them into the mix with the latch and old features you can get some really cool synthy tones.
I got this because I was looking for something out of the ordinary and that's pretty much what this can be if you want it to be.
I'd recommend it for shoegaze, ambient, P&W, for sure, but I could see this fitting into most styles. Fun pedal.

This is a very atmospheric pedal and has different modes to accommodate different ways of utilizing it. I run it through the effects loop of my marshall dsl and i love how i can get the amp distortion without getting in the way of the ethereal sounds this thing produces. You can use the effects alone, or with the synth engine. Feels wonderfully analog with no menus to slow you up. Im glad i bought it. I love ams's payment plan option! Thanks ams!

I am currently in a three piece band and I bought this pedal to add an extra layer of sound to many of the songs we play. It works great to fill the void. I have only recently purchased it so I have only scratched the surface on what this baby can do but right out of the box it has shown results! Fairly simple to use. You just need to familiarize yourself to the functions on the pedal then you can edit your sounds quickly. To many features to list here so just do youtube research. Very durable.

I’ve only began to scratch the surface of what this pedal is capable of, it has tons of tonal possibilities. I bought it for creating ambient landscapes and layering, which it excels at. Looking forward to experimenting more with this pedal. Highly recommend!!

Have been wanting a Superego since they came out, but never took the plunge. Then heard about the Superego+, and I knew I had to have one.This thing is a swiss army knife of tonal possibility. The addition of the multi-effects engine adds so much more possibility and allowed me to streamline my pedal board as well. I absolutely love this pedal, and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to add ambiance to their music or like to experiment with sounds. Totally worth every penny

I first bought this pedal thinking I would use it only for a song or two, just here and there for a little extra sprinkle of flavor on my guitar tracks. Oh was I so wrong. The SEUPEREGO+ is amazing, each effect on it sounds incredible, and with the expression pedal accessory this device has become not only my new favorite pedal but a staple on my pedalboard with no intentions of removing it anytime soon at all. I even thought at first I was just in love with it because it was new, a couple days later I went back to it and again I was wrong. I was still in love with it. The Rotary on it is heaven, the echo on it is so clean, the freeze works great too, everything on here is something I did not expect to find so much adoration for. This pedal can do so much for anyone's sound, not just guitar players. I was and still am very pleasantly surprised as I am still learning everything the SUPEREGO+ can do. I strongly recommend getting one.
