I’ve been a customer for over 8 years and all my products I’ve brought have been great additions to my arsenal for dj events whether they’ve been big or small.
I purchased this EV 12 inch sub-woofer for those small events and needed that low end so I wouldn’t hafta bring out the 18’s.
Man this little box has the punch you need ??

I got this little sub because I did not want to have a massive 18 inch sub in my office/studio that’s only a 12x12 room. This fits perfectly besides my desk and allows me to mount a speaker via a pole onto it. It’s exactly what I needed! It sounds amazing and I actually have space for other things as a result!! Definitely worth the buy. Would also work great as a DJ booth sub or anywhere that needs that low end but without taking up a bunch of space (i.e. home theater, small/medium studio, small church etc.)

This is a good subwoofer that you can get from many stores. The reason I bought from AMS is their service. The sub was sitting on my carport "free shipping" within 2 days.the more a product is handled the more likely it will be to get damaged.

I have a limited space for the situation in which I'm using this subwoofer so it's perfect. You can't really compare this to a 15 or an 18 but by god for a 12 this baby really pumps out the low end.In my situation I'm just trying to fill out the sound not THUMP the seats in the house so this is perfect. And the lower weight just makes it easier to move around

I bought 2 because I was tired of lugging around my JBL 18s. Was nervous about the size but have been very happy so far. The larger JBLs still win for low end clarity, but these add so much bottom to my full range 12s I really can’t complain.
I couldn’t find a review from a live band perspective only DJs, but don’t be shy love guys and girls. These little 12s move air and perform really nicely. The Bluetooth feature is nice to bump the volume up or down too.
AMS, amazing as always, fast, easy pay, secure!

I ordered these to compliment my EV 15s ZLX and I’m sure glad that I did! What supreme bass you get from these bad boys and it absolutely completes my set up. Don’t let the size of the 12s fool you these pack a punch. Will be purchasing another 2 at some point.

These subs are incredible! I normally think that bigger is better and i had my eye on a number of 15's. After reading the specs on these, i decided to try them out. They match perfectly with my EV 12 tops and offer superb bottom to my system that can be heard a couple blocks away. The sound is clean and punchy without even turning past half. I definitely recommend adding these to your setup to take the w work off your full range speakers!

I bought the ELX200-12SP to be used as a drum monitor subwoofer. ( For drummers “wanting more kick” in the monitor, and saving my 2-ways). I was really impressed how fast AMS was able to get my order to me. I happened to have an event that following weekend, so I thought. why not... It was a small wedding and they needed a system for dance music. All night long I was in awe of the sound that came out of that 12” subwoofer! So was everyone else! Nothing but compliments. I think if you’re in the market for a light weight small subwoofer, the EV ELX200-12SP from AMS, is definitely worth checking out!

big things come in small packages I was very surprised by the sound of this sub I paired it with two 12in tops and two 12-inch bottoms using 15 as monitors outstanding job people were surprised when they heard it they thought that it was a big system so I am very pleased and will continue to use EV speakers

It performs quite well, in fact have had to turn it down twice. For it's power, it's easier to pick up and move versus the bigger units. So far used with live band sound set up and DJ events. Flawless performance every time.

I used this subwoofer at three weddings now and I am impressed! I started taking Centrum Silver (age 55+) and I'm tired of lugging around 18 inch subwoofers! The ELX200-12SP is light and Stackable. Definitely gets two thumbs way up in my book!

Was skeptical of the size when I got it, but pound for pound, these things hold their own next to much larger subs. If portability is a concern, these 42 pound boxes are a must have. The DSP control is awesome, especially if you are running any of the many EV tops. Pairs nicely with a 12 inch ZLX, ELX or EKX main. Not for big outdoor jobs, but you'll be amazed at what these little guys will do! EV quality and performance has won me over!
