This mic quit on me after a few months. I liked it while it worked... The wires are so fine inside nobody would work on it, including EV. Back to my 40 year old SM 58.

I have used SM58 for over 50 years, and saw this EV ND96 advertised and read the reviews . And thought I would try one . And yes it does sound better than the others I have now . The sound is crisper and no feed back. I would recommend this to my friends that play and sing . Look forward to jamming with this mic. Thank you EV . Never thought they would make a great mic .

This hear mike maked me sounds like an angle. I was vary louder in my speekers. I havinged it for about 3 weaks. I reely like the flat shape on of this mike. I will have may buy more of thees.

The EV ND96 mic delivers very accurate sound across all frequency ranges. Another nice feature is the gain switch, which allows for more or less decibel projection at the user's discretion.

Killer mic. Awesome sound. Crazy volume without feedback. If you are a loud rocker who eats the mic during a gig then this things for you. If you want something that will pick up you and your back-up singers at a modest distance keep looking. Loud aggressive vocalists need only apply. But, boy will they be happy.

After using Shure and Sennheiser mics in the past, I finally have the best mic for my voice. I don't project as well as more powerful vocalists which has always been a problem until I started using the ND96. Also has a pattern switch for flexibility. Of course awesome/fast by AMS!

I play in a metal band with some seriously loud amps, this mic lets me use a fair amount of gain without half of the feedback problems and ringing out of 58. What's better is it voiced in manner that allows it to cut through naturally. The flat grill is also really nice for the proximity effect and lower growls. Great mic!

I have been playing live for years and have used top of the line mics , but this mic rules all in my opinion , i play guitar and do backup and some lead vocals , i do low growly death metal style vocals and this mic cuts through the mix , my singer tried it and loved it so much so that i bought another one for his Xmas present and he sings more like the band Violence and Suicidal Tendencies !
