Product Review Whether you're going with this as a distortion box, or a super cheap mastering saturation box this thing excels. Some of the most fantastic clean saturation to destructive distortion. In addition, you probably think that Elektron's Oerbridge software might be hard to setup, it's literally a plugin, it's amazing. For that feature alone it's worth every penny.

Product Review This thing is freakin badass. Everything i put through it has been impressive so far. On all frequency spectrums, you dont lose anything going thru and the eq is a nice and reserved boost or cut when u need it. Hardware is heavy duty and built to last. I dont find myself needing a mono output option like ive seen in negative reviews. Literally nothing wrong with this device i am in love!

Product Review This thing sounds amazing. The warmth and analog "heat" that this box can add to any stereo channel is so great. That being said the lack of Elktron overbridge support is a real drag. Half of the advertised functionality is not yet available to the user. That's why 3 stars was my rating and not 5.

Product Review I'm new to Elektron gear, just purchased the Digitone in Augustand the Digitakt in September; I'm still learning how Elektron equipment works. I have been pretty happy with the Digitone and the Digitakt, and the Heat hasn't let me down. The Heat has become a great edition to my set up, not just with my other Elektron gear, but also with my Korg, Akai, and Roland gear. The options for effects with this box add wonderful tones to the instrument that's plugged into it.

Product Review I love my Analog Heat! I have really been enjoying processing all kinds of audio sources through this to see what kind of results I can get. As a music producer and sound designer this tool is very useful. When producing music, sometimes I want to add more grit or warmth to a digital sound... Analog Heat can go from subtle or punchy saturation to completely extreme distorted chaos (if that's what you want, you have complete control). Using the onboard EQ and filter allows me to tame or enhance specific frequencies, which is extremely useful and time saving. I have a Hybrid set up of both Analog outbourd gear and digital computer based sounds and effects. Being able to take sounds out from my computer then into my Analog Heat MK2 is a big deal to me, and very convenient. Every project I work on you can be sure to hear Analog Heat on something... Instead of running whole mixed tracks through it, I think it's more powerful to process sounds individually because it gives you more control over your sound. Whether it be just a bass sound or a drum track...or simply on a snare with a big reverb, the results are always interesting! When I have my sound design hat on, Analog Heat is my best friend! When it comes to drum sounds, I like my sounds to be punchy, especially my kicks and snares. Analog Heat MK2 plays very well with processing drums. Running an 808 kick through it with some saturation and pumping the drive a bit gives it some excellent character that will definitely help the drums cut through my tracks. Recently I made this vocalized FM sound effect, after running it through the Analog Heat it completely changed the idea into something new I would have not otherwise created. Analog Heat MK2 definitely is a fun tool to experiment with. If you are looking for something different and like getting hands on with processing audio, I would say give Analog Heat MK2 a try, experiment with different sounds and most of all have fun! P.S one last thing to note is Overbridge for Analog Heat MK2 is not out yet (at the time of writing this review), so once that is released it will open even more possibilities to this beast. Also I can't stress this enough American Music Supply makes it really easy for me to buy gear using there payment plans. If you're on a budget like me, go check out there payment options, it's very simple to set up. I wouldn't have been able to afford this gear otherwise. So hats off to AMS, awesome service!

Product Review Quiet clean overdrive, distortion, saturation, filter, and EQ unit. This analogue unit is not cheap but can add serious mojo to anything run through it, the hard part is not using it on everything. This unit can make 808's and subs distort better than any plugin, so if you need that modern tool for the low end, this is it.
