I build custom cabs and have used the CV75s in a few cabs. They are a great sounding speaker, I paired a 1275 legend with the CV75 in my personal cab with a Mesa Express 550+ head and I am very pleased with the sound. After about 5-6 weeks they were broken in a little bit and sound even better. You wont regret getting this speaker.

It really does sound like a broken in V30. I have it paired with a Swamp Thang and the sound is absolutely glorious under my Marshall Origin 50! Highly recommend it if you need to keep the smooth highs for rhythm but get the sear for leads!

I bought this speaker to replace the stock speaker in my Blues Junior. It exceeded my expectations. The highs of the BJ have been tamed and are smooth not harsh. The mids are clear, open , and strong. The bass is tight and punchy. I'm going to buy another for my Deluxe Reverb. As usual AMS had it on my door step the next day after order.

Great Sounding, Tonally Balanced Speakers

This speaker was a big improvement over the Peavey Scorpions I had in my combo amp. I don't constantly swap or experiment with different speakers; instead, I do a lot of research, make a choice, and stick with it unless it sounds far different than I'm expecting. I wanted something akin to a Celestion Vintage 30 or Classic Lead 80, but more reasonably priced. This speaker was a great choice---very versatile for both overdriven and clean sounds, and tonally balanced, just like Eminence advertises it. Not muddy in the lows, or harsh in the highs. The mids are strong, but very balanced as well---no one portion dominates the sound, as is sometimes the case with the Vintage 30. Well done, Eminence!
