This is a good upgrade for an Ampeg SVT15e. Great low end response and an overall, fatter tone. I use this cab with a Gallien Krueger 700 RB mkii and it is a solid back line. The 300 handling watts give me a little more headroom versus the OEM 200 watts. I will look for another cab and immediately will install this driver and stack them for larger shows. Excellent stuff.

I've tried other brands of 15" bass speakers over the years. Celestion, Weber & Faital. None have the clarity or tonal range of the CB158 for bass guitar. Even other Eminence bass speaker don't sound like this one. Highly recommended.

Great speaker! Just added it to my cabinet with my 18 and started thumping from the get go!handles the low end while delivering the mids and highs! I finally can achieve that sound ive tone chased for so long!
