Product Rating Product Review Wanted to try out the sloped shoulder acoustic. To see if I ever want to plunk down the dough for a Gibby J45. I bought the G45 a couple of years ago. A little underwhelmed. So I dressed the fret ends. Changed the string. Relieved the truss rod. And now have pretty good action. Look it's a $300 guitar. Perfectly fine for strumming on the couch.

Product Review I got the natural finish because I believe the soundboard is livelier without paint. I was prepared to work the neck and frets, but not necessary. Mine played perfect right out of the box. I replaced the strings with Martin Marquis 10/47 green label and the sound is fantastic !! Nice lively sound and smooth play. For the money, this thing is a steal ! I still will replace the bridge with bone on the next string change, otherwise, it's perfect as it is. I think the sound of it compares to the much more expensive Excellente.

Product Review I own Martin, Gibson, Fender and several vintage imports from the 60’s and 70’s. I wanted another acoustic to write songs with, play outdoors and just beat on in general, saving the frets on my higher end guitars. So I didn’t want to spend much. I picked this guitar first and formally by the specs rather than by reviews. Out of the box this guitar looks beautiful. I removed the “E” immediately with no trouble without any adhesive sticking to the pick guard. This made the guitar look much better IMHO. My guitar sounded great to me the second I started getting it tuned to pitch. Plays very easy, zero fret buzz and spot on intonation. The sound of this guitar is somewhat unique and I believe it will open up and resonate more soon since the woods used seem very decent. You can’t go wrong for the price. Mine was the sunburst by the way. I own higher end guitars like I said, so I don’t want to compare this to those, but my friend has one of those Martin imports that are “cheaper” like $799ish and this Epiphone guitar is better.

Product Review This guitar was spot on right out of the box! Holds time for very long periods of time. Great next step for my son who is getting more serious about his playing. I like picking it up as well! This will serve him for years to come.

Product Review My review is in the context of the price. I got my mahogany aj220s from AMS for $199.00. While the guitar has a smaller acoustic voice than my Martin D-28, it plays just as easily, and the intonation is spot-on. I got this so I wouldn't have to drag my Martin into bars to play. I put an L.R. Baggs M1 active in it, and amplified, it is the equal of the amplified Martin. This is the best super-affordable acoustic guitar I have ever played. Thrilled with the purchase.

Product Review Everyone should buy this guitar. I bought it as just a campfire beater bar guitar and I've been blown away. It's since replaced both my nice expensive acoustics and has become my main guitar. Intonation is perfect, action is perfect, sound is perfect. I can't believe how good this guitar is. It's got a solid top and the binding on the body and fret board is real smooth. If you are shopping for your first guitar, buy this one. The playability is on par with $1000+ guitars. You won't need to upgrade until you're ready to buy that $4000 Martin or Taylor.

Product Review Remember this is a $230 guitar! Plays and sounds more like a $600 guitar. Once the sthings broke in, it won me over as a keeper. Has great projection and tone.
