I will hopefully revise my review. Have been sent two identically damaged guitars. Gonna give it one more go. The crack is at the stock end of the neck on the top and bottom. So far AMS has been great to deal with and I’m hoping that remains the same. I buy 1 guitar a year and this one is for a friend getting into playing .

I bought this guitar as a comeback player. Price was right for the tine being. I will upgrade to a better guitar later but as is it plays very well. I was actually surprised how well it sounds. Recommend to anyone starting out or comeback player. As with most guitars a setup should be the first thing you do with a guitar. This one played well right out of the box.

I have been playing guitar for a while now and have had expensive guitars. So this I just bought for the heck of it. Some are going to think I'm crazy for putting Graph Tech locking tuners on it but it really helped a lot with string stability and staying in tune. May need to lower the action a bit. Overall it's a pretty decent guitar, especially for beginners. Thanks AMS once again. You Rock!!!

I get a kick out of those individuals who make the claim that this is a good beginners’ guitar, (as it very well may be), but in reality, it is a great seasoned guitarist’s instrument! It’s was, and will be, my go to guitar once the local bar/music scene reopens! Great all-around player guitar, and keeper! The neck profile, wood, and super hum bucking pickups, allow this axe to sing and propel one, into wanting to play more! Get one for band practice, home studio, and leaving behind your choice, expensive, boutique guitars home when playing in the aformentioned “bars”, to ward of the fears of theft and damages that may or may jot happen!

This a real Les Paul at a amazing price! Plays smooth and sounds great. The fit is tight and the gloss ebony finish is beautiful! Epiphone is stepping up their game for sure. I added a Les Paul pick guard & black speed knobs. It looks like it’s a $1500 guitar. Get it while you can, I really can’t see them staying at the $250 very long. Again AMS makes your experience perfect in every way!!

Great guitar out of the box, but ideal for customizing! Replacing all shiny nickel for brass improvements. Roller bridge/stop, locking tuners, brass pickups w/frames, switch, knobs, strap holders and output jack. Against the beautiful walnut finish, the gold will be striking and improve playability and performance.

This electric guitar was a gift for our musical daughter who loves anything "strings." I chatted. With the reps here at AMS and they were very knowledgeable and helpful! My daughter loves the sound and the all black color. The Epiphone has a nice rich sound and is perfect for a beginning electric guitarist. The price was good. There is plenty for a beginner to learn or explore (or experienced) with the different knobs and settings. You can't go wrong with this guitar or with AMS. Thank you so much!

The first one arrived with the neck snapped! AMS did a great job of getting a replacement shipped out. My guitar was actually set up very well out of the box, frets where in good condition. I was impressed with the action setting even out of the box. I will say the pick ups are definitely not Alnico so sound different than I am used to but for the price that’s an easy fix.

First off - I am a beginner with 0 experience. I first purchased an ESP Ltd with 24 frets - fantastic quality but above my capabilities. Then I tried an Ibanez - decent, but not near the quality. I should have started with what I first looked at - the Epiphone...
This is the best quality and most playable guitar at this price point. Excellent sound and the neck is smooth. The quality is off the charts. This will be an excellent starter that feels very comfortable and seems to be the best electric to learn on.

Out of the box it played well and looked really Nice.!! Super clean. Mine is the Walnut and it is really awesome to look at and it plays as good as it looks.I played it for two hours and then Changes the Strings to the D'Addario XL's and the The Sound and feel was just like my Old Gibson Les Paul Studio I had back in 2011.The sound of the Pick-ups with a few tweaks of the Amp and Pedals create the Classic sound I was looking for So when I play Bad Company or Mott the Hoople it sounds as good as they do.!! If it's Played on Les Paul this can match it. I have owned quite a few Guitars over the years and this one plays as good and sounds so Crunchy or Clean for the Money it's hard to beat.!! Epiphone has come a long way and I am going to get another one Soon.!! If you want a good Axe and can't afford 2500 or more get one of these.

I got the Walnut Les Paul Studio LT and let me tell you it is a beauty. The body is mahogany, the fretboard is rosewood, the knobs are labeled "volume" and "tone", the pickup selector switch is in the right place and also labeled with the classic "rhythm" and "treble" switch surround. This is a real Les Paul, just check the headstock. I like the zebra pickups too and they sound really good to my ears. Oh, and it has a carved top. What else could you ask for $250 bucks. The only difference between this guitar, besides price, is it has a bolt on neck which has a somewhat thinned down neck pocket so you can reach the upper frets. This is my first real Les Paul. I have an Oscar Schmidt Les Paul copy and it's really nice but it has hung on the wall since I got this LT. I love playing it. I'm not that good but I really feel like this is a guitar I can grow with without having to replace it down the road. How many $250 guitars can you say that about?

Just got the cherry sunburst model on Thursday, played all night with it the next night, sounds great and stays in tune (to me the most important thing) why spend more? when this sounds and looks great. I paired it with the fender champion 40 watt amp, great for medium size shows. Thanks American musical and Epiphone, very satisfied!

The studio is a must better performance Electric Guitar than the Pro Jr. The various tone selection are aJoy to novelist and beginners. I am looking forward to purchasing the Tadition Pro 111. Bought this for my 13 year old son as his first guitar. The guitar was on back order so it took longer than expected to arrive but upon delivery I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The fit and finish was really nice for the price and it doesn't sound too bad for a beginner guitar..
