Product Review I bought this guitar specifically to play Beatles tunes. It lived up to my expectations. Action on it was playable right out of the box; I might lower it a hair. Overall, great value for the price. I would recommend this purchase. I was not disappointed.

Product Review I guess they don't carry the Casino Coupe in the natural color anymore which is too bad. while the other colors are nice, IMO, the natural is the best looking. I love this guitar. After I had it for a while, I gave my Strat to my grandson since I preferred the Casino Coupe and the Strat was just gathering dust.

Product Review This Casino Coupe is the culmination of a 6 month long search! I ordered, played and sent back (with one exception, of course!) TEN Guitars! I was able to do this because of AMS's incredible satisfaction guarantee! I can with great confidence and delight recommend both AMS and the Epiphone Casino Coupe! It's a KEEPER!!! Smooth playing, perfect size and looks gorgeous! I got the RED one! Beautiful instrument, excellent build quality! And did I say it SOUNDS wonderful?! That perfect big HOLLOW BODY SOUND! On the fence? Let me push you over...BUY IT!!!

Product Review Ordered this guitar because of the advertisement of sounding like a casino "but in a 339 body". So when it arrives and played it, everyone in the band was shocked that it sounded no where near what a casino sound like! So our other guitarist plug his 2015 epi casino in to compare it to the couple and the couple had NO type of "openess" to it at all. Way to much bass to it. No amount of knob turning, amp adjustments or string change would brighten this thing up. Plus the bridge was rattling. So and sent me a different casino coupe and found the same with the second one, so I sent it back also. The guitar itself was okay....if you were trying to buy a lighter epi pens paul!

Product Review Wonderful guitar for the money. The Casino Coupe has the Hollowbody tones of a regular Casino but in a much easier to manage size! This guitar plays easily and the neck and frets are well assembled. I really enjoy this Casino Coupe!

Product Review Alright I’ll say it? Out of my 15 guitar collection, from out of the case to being my serious go to #1 all around player choice pick! Crazy how it easy can fit any style music I’m playing.Much like my classic Les Paul-gold top/blk back issue with P90s,this lil darling ES Coupe easily holds her own ground and certainly much, much more.

Product Review I’ve ordered thru the years about 15 guitars from AMS,only for the fact in my book their simply the best at everything they do! So to say a few words about this lil darling I now own. It makes me happy to share this information about her,yah I get to brag.Owning a collection of guitars now I truly feel it’s complete! All my life I’ve wanted Casino! Well I do now! Totally perfect and gorgeous from the head stock to the trapeze tail piece! But the truth is in the performance and tone quality to me. Out of the case the action was great, the P 90s can rip ur face off or just enjoyably melt ur ears with beautiful melodic tones. Either way u play her she fills my expiration’s and more. Truly the best pick in my collection, thank u AMS.

Product Review Overall frets and finish were perfect. The new old style pickups sound great. Very clear when you need them to be. I have played both cp and the normal casino, I prefer the smaller body. It's very comfortable to play without any sound loss.

Product Review I got the Vintage Sunburst model. The fit & finish are very good, the setup & action were right on, but the frets were rough enough to need polishing, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. It's really light, & much more comfortable to noodle with on the couch than my Epi ES 335. The tuning is really stable; tuning machines are tight (no noticeable slack). The P-90s sound nice & chimy clean, & chunky, warm, & harmonically complex overdriven. I think it would look better w/ a black pickguard, tho...

Product Review Just ordered my second Casino Coupe. Both natural. My first one is absolutely beautiful. I like the balance and the small size fits me well (my main guitar for years has been a Ric 320). It was set up pretty nice from the factory. No fret buzz and the intonation was great. I put some heavier strings on it (11-52) as is my preference, and it plays like a dream. I ordered a second one and it will be my mod guitar. I plan on putting Kluson keytone tuners and a Bigsby on it. I have 2 full sized Casinos and did the same with them ... one stock (except for strings) and the other with upgraded tuners and a Bigsby. I actually like the feel of the Coupe better and there is really not a big difference in the tone. Once I get number 2 all set up, the full size Casinos will be retired from gigging, I think. The price is great and these are great little guitars.

Product Review I received my Casino Coupe about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it. It is easy to handle and to play. The sound is fantastic played through my Johnson 120 tube Amp. The controls, switch and pickups are fine the way it came, but I will install USA Gibson pickups later to see if it gets a greater sound. It is lightweight and easy to handle. I would recommend it to my friends.

Product Review To begin with, the guitar was listed in the AMS "outlet zone, and I have no idea why. The plastic was still on the pickups and pick-guard, and the finish was flawless, even in the f-holes. The action was perfect, the frets were great, and the intonation spot on. The over-all build of the guitar is flawless. I've only played it through my home practice amp, a VOX VT40X. Plugged in the guitar has a distinct woody tone and terrific sustain without having to rely on cranking the amp's gain. And of course the P90s sound terrific married to the hollow body. You can spend hours with this guitar getting really great tones just using the tone and volume controls and pickup selector. I don't know if the C Coupe is for everyone, but I'm glad I bought it. Funny thing, 40+ years a go when I started playing, you couldn't have given me this guitar...my how things change...this guitar is a keeper.

Product Review The Casino Coupe is a wonderful idea. A small body hollow body with p90's. It has great possibilities. I bought one in natural during the 15% off sale. A very good deal. It arrived a few days later in great condition and right out of the box it played fine. The parts are good quality and the pots and switch are very good. The P 90's are the question. They are very hot. Almost too hot and do not get a true P 90 sound in my opinion. It would be better to wind them to a similar spec of a Gibson P 90. Also the feedback from the metal covers really hurts the sound. Also I would have liked to have some noise canceling when the pickups are used together. But Epiphone does not have this option. Turing is spot on and intonation is very good. I replaced the pickups with Gibson P90s and plastic covers which increased the highs and gave it it much rounder sound. It's a very good guitar but to make it gig worthy it needs some upgrades, in my opinion.

Product Review I got mine today, made a slight adjustment to the truss rod, then lowered the action. The neck is straight and the action is low. I haven't been able to put this Casino Coupe down! The cherry red finish is beautiful w/really gorgeous wood grain underneath the finish. Mine weighs 5.5 lbs and is a real joy to play. I love the light feel of this guitar. The tone is nice and fat for jazz and blues licks, and when I ran my Roland Cube 80 on the lead channel, man this Coupe really growls and rocks out w/great sustain and tone. I was burning up the Santana tone on this Coupe! The P90s sound great and they do not need to be changed out in my opinion. This axe also sounds great thru my Fender Vibrolux Reverb. I love this axe and it is fast becoming my fav axe, if it isn't already, and I own 3 Strats, 2 Teles, a nice/awesome Broadway, and a Loar LH350. I got mine for $360 right here at American Music Supply. For that price point, I can assure you, I am TOTALLY pleased with this purchase!

Product Review I have not seen or played one of these new coupe versions, I can't find any at the local stores, but based on my original 1965 Epiphone Casino in Tobacco Sunburst (now called Vintage Sunburst) that I had from 1971 to '1973, this would probably be a really cool and comfortable guitar in a coupe or 339 body size. The secret of a Casino or its counterpart Gibson ES-330 is that they have no center block other than that to hold the bridge in place, so they are much more of a true open hollow body or acoustic sound, and have very clear, open, ringing tones with the sweet shimmer of the single coil but relatively beefy P-90s over the hollow body. They are the classic tones you hear on Beatles 65 in tunes like I Feel Fine, and John Lennon playing rhythm on such tunes as Revolution and the Let It Be LP. Interestingly, it is actually JL playing the cool riffs on I feel fine which you can see in YouTube videos of live performances such as in Munich, Germany.
