Product Review
Nice, but no longer comes with Grover tuners. Paid an extra $100 for Grover Roto-Grip Locking Rotomatic Tuners, a drop-in replacement. Switch to GHS Silk and Steel strings and replaced with brass pins, did a proper setup and Life is good.

looks great and like most Epiphones I have bought from AMS excellent quality you can't beat it
I can't answer this just got it yesterday but I have 2 other Epiphones and I have had them 3 years and they do get a work out and still look like new, and the only thing I have changed is strings.
I have been playing this one since i got it had to tune it, i have 10 hours on it easy far haven't had to tune it yet.
Your general opinion of this product.
It's fantastic just what I have been looking for HE HEEEEEEEE.
If your a beginner you will love it you just can't beat it just so easy to play, it will make learning a lot more fun and enjoyable
feels great, nice and light and plays fast.
controls are no problem right within reach you can't beat it.If you have the money to spend this is the way to go to have fun.
i am not a expert far from it but the tone sounds good to me i have nothing to say bad about it.
Like all my other Epiphones fantastic
Action is just like my electric guitars the strings are so low to the frets a 5 year old can play it.
I have a Carvin electric guitar with strings so close to the frets all you have to do is touch them.
This Epiphones is darn near as close he heeee.

Seems to be very well built. No flaws i can see or hear.
had for few months only. But don't dought it will last me till i'm finished playing.
Your general opinion of this product.
Didn't expect a lot from this guitar for the price, but with a set of Martin strings and amped it is obviously priced to low. It Sounds wonerful through a fender amp. thinking of getting an acoustic amp.
feels like an old friend. comfy, playable. Keeps tune very well.
Sound is even across the strings. the controls even out any differences no problem
I got the Natural. Beautiful and flawless.
Great action. no adjustment needed on mine.

Great quality, I have not been disappointed by epiphone before and the story hasn't changed. It has never given me troubles.
Owned it for a year and a half. Played it every day, and almost every week for worship. No problems at all, just a solid guitar.
Your general opinion of this product.
So I have been playing for a while now, and this guitar is the one that I always go back to. Plug it in and get ready to blow peoples minds with the amazing sound. I am serious, everyone I play with drop what they are doing the first time they hear this plugged in to tell me how great they think it sounds.
A very light guitar. The neck is pretty smooth, and easy to move around on. Its not too chunky, and bar chords are easy to do for a long time without tiring out your hand. It is pretty skinny, which is nice when you just want to sit down and play, but sucky when you are looking for a case. Make sure to find one it won't want to move around in
Tone is great. I installed the Elixer Phospher/bronze to give it that warm tone, and WOW. It seriously sounds better than the $1000 Taylors it was playing with.
Finish looks great. Lots of people compliment on how it looks. I did however buy and install a pick guard. The best $10 investment I made on this guitar.
The action is superb. I sometimes do get a fret buzz on the 6e when I play the third fret, but that just tells me I need to change strings. Once I do, its gone.

Couldn't be happier!
By: LolaS from Indiana

Seems to be made well. Haven't detected any issues. Because it was sold as the scratch and dent, I really inspected it for any issues and I haven't found any at all. Then again, I haven't had a chance to push it hard. Time will tell.
I've only had it maybe a week. Seems sturdy enough. Again, for a scratch and dent there isn't anything structurally that's an issue. A few very slight marks - hardly noticeable. I think the electronics had to be repaired but they're working fine so far.
Your general opinion of this product.
Was looking for a thinline acoustic and spotted this one as a "scratch and dent". The price was knocked down to make it very enticing. Because of the Epiphone name and super deal AMS was offering I took a chance. Wow! This was a super deal. The only thing I can tell the might have been wrong with it is the electronics were repaired. There's very minor marks that aren't really noticeable. As for the instrument - it's beautiful. For the price, the sound is very nice - warm tones when not plugged in, when amplified it's very nice. Action is perfect. I am all over this neck with no problems. I have a Wasshburn a/e and an Ibanez exotic wood. After a week of playing around on the PR5E, I'm selling the Ibanez.
So light and fast. Perfect thinline body. The neck is so easy. I've had a few different acoustics through the years and I'm loving the feel of this.
Very warm and vibrant. Can tweak the equalization to brighten it up. Sound is projected very well when not plugged in. I should also add that when amplified, I have not had any feedback yet.
Finish looks great. It really does look like what you would imagine an old bluesman would be tooling around with on the porch. It's not too shiny and not dull.
Action out of the box is almost perfect. No problems playing up and down the neck. Easy to move around. No buzzing. I will probably mess around with the action to see what happens.

For an import guitar construction is solid, and inspected in USA. Although had to take it to a local guitar tech for set up, out of box action to high and truss rod needed adjusting.
Have not had it long, bought it to do occasional acoustic shows, so far so good
Your general opinion of this product.
For the money a nice guitar.
It's easy to play lead solos on the smaller neck with great upper access. Onboard preamp with tuner a plus
The preamp sounds clean and sparkly, even response across strings with pickup
Finish work 8 out of 10, minor flaws in detail work & finish
Terrible!!

Beautiful finish. Looks and sounds like a high dollar guitar without breaking the bank.
Built very well. The people at Epiphone really put a lot of detail and craftsman ship into this guitar. It still looks and sounds the way it did when it came out of the box. Bravo!
Your general opinion of this product.
Very good product for the money. My family and friends think I spent a fortune.
Very slim feel with low action for easy play.
Vibrant tone. Has a rich sound. Plays loud without a amp.
I purchased the black finish and it has a deep shine. Rockstar look and feel.
Didn't have to adjust it at all. Played great right out of the box.

Killer Guitar For Great PRice
By: Bill from jackson, ms usa

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
The guitar is absolutely beautiful. Everyone who has seen it has been shocked when I tell them what I paid for it...one guy I work with saw it, played it, and sold his Ibanez Acoustic-Electric and ordered one of these.
FEATURES:
The built in tuner is really handy for me as a relatively new guitar player it saves me from having to carry a tuner around with me everywhere I go.
EASE OF USE:
The action on this guitar is incredible. I have been playing a Vintage 1957 Silvertone Acoustic and this one is so much easier to play.
VALUE:
I would recommend this to anyone for the price. It plays like a much more expensive guitar.
SOUND:
The sound is excellent. Great resonance and intonation. Havent plugged it up yet so cant comment on the electric side.

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
Pretty good quality for the price. Even has a Gibson truss rod cover.
FEATURES:
When I bought this I was expecting it to have the additional XLR jack, but apparently Epiphone has discontinued that feature. Still it has the 1/4" jack and the onbord pickup/eq is pretty good.
EASE OF USE:
When it first arrived the action was a little stiff, probably from being flown. But after a couple of weeks it settled in very nicely. It is very comfortable to play.
VALUE:
All things considered it's a great guitar for $350
SOUND:
Its sound is excellent. Loud and not cheap sounding.
STYLE:
All over the place
MUSIC EXPERIENCE:
38 years at guitar. I play other instruments too.
OVERALL:
Just get one. If your looking at it you probably want it so just do it!!!!
