I have tried many different strings over the years and always come back to EB Slinky's. They have the right amount of tension and the tone seems to stay even for longer periods of time. I like how they have a great mixture of bite/sizzle but still bring in some tameness.

I've used Ernie Ball's guitar strings, so I thought it was time to try the bass strings. I was not disappointed! These strings sound low, dark, bright and snappy at the same time depending on how you play. Great all around string!

Ive rocked a lot of different brands since I started playing bass 20 years ago and Ernie Ball has remained consistent. These are my go to. They sound great, but mind you, you get what you pay for. I would love if that crisp tone lasted just a little longer. However, when that tone is sweet, its sweet.

Ernie Ball stringsare the only strings to use for clarity and long life and I am very happy with the two over sized strings which in my opinion balance my sound nicely on all my basses. If you are a rock and blues player you won’t be disappointed.
