These acoustic strings indeed add clarity to the sound of the guitar. Initially, they take a little patience to allow them to settle and, when they do, the clarity is the best I have heard on this solid spruce top guitar. Glad I tried them.

Bought 2 packs. Both had tarnished, even used looking strings. Black spots on strings. The A string was a completely darker dull color to it. Sound dead after installing. Removed and replaced the same day I installed.

I've used Ernie ball strings for years but recently switched to Elixirs nano web and like them. Saw these advertised and thought I'd give them a try. Glad I did,because I'm going back to Ernie ball permanently.

Nice tone. Nice feel. I like to try out different strings from time to time. I usually use D'Addario EXP15's, but I like to experiment. These strings are very comparable tone wise, if that gives you any point of reference. I'll need to play on them a little bit more to go beyond what I've written. They are about $5 cheaper than the D'Addario's, but these are lighter, which I like. For a $10 set of strings, I say try 'em if you like very light strings. My string height on my guitar is a bit on the high side (I need to take it in and get it lowered), so these lighter strings saves wear and tear on the ol' fingertips.

Received my Ernie Ball aluminum bronze acoustic strings... Wow what a difference they make. Clean clear crisp sound. I love the sustain you get from these. Thank you again AMS for another fine product.

I'm very impressed with these strings. I own a Breedlove and the tone is punchy for acoustic strings. Through a TC Helicon voicelive2, the output tone is louder but very responsive. They can take a beating, I play in several alternate tunings and these are best by far. I'm definitely a huge Earnie Ball fan now.
