Used this to change my strings on my esp Ltd. It saved me time from constant winding with my fingers. Furthermore I like the battery. This way all I have to do is charge it and not worry about buying batteries when needed. Get one. You’ll be glad you did.

If you own more then one guitar and gig a lot , then your probably changing strings very often . This unit for me has been a time saver , and works excellent .

I have three electric & two acoustic guitars, I keep my strings changed often to get the optimal tones from my instruments. This rechargeable handheld winder is one of the top rated and most popular and affordable on the market. Is lightweight, easy to fit over any style tuner knob, winds forward/reverse at a medium speed, I can change strings quickly on all my guitars with ease. If you buy this, I would also recommend getting the neck rest block and pad for your guitar to lay on, to give easier access to do any maintenance work on your instrument, really makes it easier to work on and faster too.

This is the second one I bought. I gave my first one to my dad. Dad is a quality guy,,,,I wouldn't give him just amything. This winder makes a string change much much easier. My first one was battery operated ,,,the second one had an AC adapter for charging. If you buy one you will never go back to not having one,,,,hand winding is so tedioud. This is another enjoyable guitar supply by Ernie Ball
