Product Review These strap locks work hreat. I have used several different brand. These are easy to install and so far, they seem very secure. My only drawback, and it is minor, is that they stick out a bit from the body. Unlike other strap locks, these do not go over the buttons but rather clip onto the end of them. This causes them to stick out a bit from the guitar. It’s minor but kind of annoys me for some reason. But they work and they are sturdy. I have no problem with the security of my guitar.

Product Review I love the strap locks. The locations of the buttons are on the side instead of the top like other brands making it very hard to accidentally release these and drop your guitar.

Product Review Product fit well against the bass but the strap section tends to loosen because it's held together with a nut instead of a C-clip. And if it's a custom strap forget about it. The post isn't very long causing the nut to loose constantly.

Product Review So when I’m about to throw down serious heavy breakdowns I need the best. That ol’ 6 string gets swingin’ round pretty hard sometimes. I need to know that my strap locks are up to the task of wrangling a wild axe spinning 1000 rpm around my neck. Once, with my schallers, I sent my ‘59 burst through the wall of a small club in northern Wyoming. Not only did the owner charge me for the 17 beers I had before the show, he charged me for fixing the wall, and 18 more dollars for wrecking his best favorite nascar poster. I had to sell the Gibson to pay for it all. Fast forward to 2020 and I find my self picking up a pristine first act from the yard sale José and Tammy-Jo put on every 4th of July.I spent 30 bucks on that beauty and I can’t possibly recover financially from another disaster like the Lester incident, so I gotta play it safe. I returned beer cans, got 20 bucks, and tried a set of these bad boys based solely on how I felt emotionally on that particular day. So far, I’ve only dropped the new guitar twice, but that had more to do with the 151 my cousin gave me last weekend. I’ve been rocking hard and these things just won’t let me down. Best strap locks I’ve ever used.

Product Review These look great on my Strats and Pauls. Even good on my bass, matches the hardware great. The quick connect works perfectly. You will need to compensate for the longer screws into the body. Usually about 1/8" to 1/4" long.

Product Review I have been using the Earnie Ball strap locks for the last 8 years. Very easy to install, well made and with the three color choices will go well with most basses and guitars. The locking mechanism is very simple and I have never had one fail.

Best Strap Locks on the Market

Product Review These strap lock rock! The installation can be tricky because the supply screws can be a little long compared to the original hardware. If pre-drilling longer holes scares you, simply try to use the original screws on the Ernie Ball Strap Lock; it will usually work. Either way, these babies stay locked and go off and on with ease.

Product Review I have these on ALL of my guitars. I have been using these particular ones for about 5 years. I own several sets. Every guitar I buy gets a set of Ernie Ball Super Locks. With 3 different color options, there is a set to match any guitar you can dream of. The 4 bearing contact points have never failed. The security these strap locks give my while playing on stage or at home is great. The dual release squeeze buttons prevent unwanted or accidental release of your instrument. I have tried them all and these are by far superior to any others. I hope they never stop making this particular lock system! Best piece of mind you can buy for your beloved guitars.

Worth the money

Product Review Have tried several brands of straplocks for 30 years and always come back to the Ernie Balls. On stage with sweaty hands, the press in buttons to lock/unlock are far easier to use than the pull out kind. The other design/brand that has a center push-in button works well but also noticed the quality and strength of the mechanism is not as robust as the Ernie Ball's. I have two sets installed on my strap so I can change playing positions on the fly from finger/pick to slap.

Product Review I got these to accommodate a couple new comfy straps I bought for both of my basses. I don’t know if it’s operator error, but the bottom strap lock button seems to pop out from the female coupler button that attaches to the bass. It’s happened twice already, even after checking it tugging on the strap after snapping them together. I dunno if something is sticking and it’s not fully locking, or what. Maybe some dry lubricant on both parts will help remedy that, I dunno. My Dimarzio click lock strap lock kit seems to be more secure and reliable, but those straps are uncomfortable, especially with a heavy bass. We’ll see if I can remedy the issue, or if I’ll return the locks and get something more sturdy.
