I was getting a lot of noise from my tube amp when trying to mic it up to record. Thought it was from my gain pedals / pedal board power supply. But this cord cleaned up 95% of the noise I was hearing -- turns out my old instrument cable that was "noise free" may have just been overused to the point that it was break down or something. But world of difference. Highly recommend.

This is a great cable. It's a heavy duty cable and you will not lose any quality from guitar to amp. I remember that most guitar cables were coiled so you would not step on them or get tangled up in them. Why the change I do not know. Even though I use a pedal board it still keeps me from stepping on my cable and that is the reason that most cables fail. I don't have to grab my cable and keep playing Indiana Jones and whipping it around getting it out of my way. I'm glad I got two.

My first appearance of this cable was “ Lord this thing’s huge!” After using it I realized yeh - it’s huge, but sounds really good. The cable doesn’t tangle like a lot of strait ones do. It’s kind of bulky and heavier than your average joe, but a lot of players ( including myself ) will dig the old school look and feel not to mention the clear tones.

It is heavier and has larger coils than I had expected. When stretched out, it does not return all the way back to it's original coil tightness. I'm not sure but it may stay more stretched out the longer it's used. It is a quiet, so far noiseless cable. I like the length of the straight cable on each end of the coil, allowing the cable to be tucked in behind the guitar strap. The white cable was the one that was on sale and I would much prefer the black cable because the white shows scuffs where it drags along the stage. All considered, it is a well constructed cable, with sturdy connectors. I would purchase the Ernie Ball coiled cable again but I would purchase the black one. I would recommend this cable.

Very well built cable and very low noise. Was comparing to some of my high dollar cables and could not tell a difference...I bought 2 because of the great price. Highly recommend and adds that vintage look as well. A+++
