I was encountering the typical tone issues with passive volume pedals, and opted for the mvp, over modding my vpjr. Very happy. The dB boost feature is the icing on the cake, as I run my volume pedal post drives, and with only slight boost set, I can ride the volume pedal to serve as a master volume and additional boost when needed. Now I may mod existing after all to use as volume, and set the mvp min at unity, and step on the throttle to have complete control over clean boost!
