This is the second time I've purchased this pedal. I had to sell my first one to fund something else and I regretted it. So I bought it again. It's nice to have two very different and great fuzz tones. The tone bender I feel is a sleeper. Cleans up nicely and sounds great. Then there's the Octave. It can be used independently from the fuzzes with other drives or modulation. Then, to add to the great tones, you can run all these effects from just 1 9v outlet.

this thing is incredible. I will say its not AMAZING with my HH guitars but it sounds ridiculously good (so does the plumes) with my single coil strats

This pedal is fantastic. Essentially 3 pedals in 1 chassis! I love the combinations you can utilize with the individual activation of the Hoof, Reaper or the Octave! Don’t let it fool you tho, because it’s 2 fuzz circuits in the same chassis. They’re different enough to dial in individual tones and the octave up circuit just makes this thing sound massive! One thing that really makes this great is each fuzz circuit has an Output Volume control! This is and I wanna say this for the people in the back A MUST! Far too often you see Fuzz pedals with no volume control and it sucks cause the fuzz circuit sounds great but it can be overpowering without any way to bring that individual signal down! If you’re a fan of hybrid circuit fuzz pedals (Silicon/Germanium) this is the one to cut your teeth on! An investment at its price point but getting one of these when AMS is running a payment plan special is a no brainer! I’m a bassist and this pedal Smacks on a whole different Fuzzy Octave Destroying Level! Trust me... make room on your board, plug in and Level the room. You won’t regret it.

EQD has some truly amazing products! I was a little hesitant to pick this up at first because of the price tag, but it is WELL worth the money! This thing is really like 3 pedals rolled into one solid compact unit. You can't beat the monster fuzz tones, and having the octave built in is incredible. If you're looking for a great fuzz pedal with a huge variety of tones, look no further! You will not regret this one!

After watching many videos and reviews of different fuzz pedals I decided to go with the hoof reaper. I was not dissapointed. They sound good on their own but when you combine both you get some great sounds. You can get a wide variety of different sounds from classic fuzz to some heavy fuzz. The octave function is a nice bonus. AMS was great, pedal showed up 2 days earlier than expected.

The hoof is a great muff clone and the ability to add in the mids is great it really smooths out and sustains. The tone bender side is also great in it's own right. Sounds massive into a hot gain channel of my Marshall. The octave has that oldschool vibe but works better then most Octavia pedals I've tried. With V2 it has a latching "flexi switch" on the octave which is great for getting some cool fuzz to octave momentarily things going on. Overall I really enjoy this pedal and would recommend this pedal to fuzz lovers of all walks and genres.
