This pedal does all it says it will. You can get it close to a regular chorus but where’s the fun in that? If you want to create a dreamscape or feel like you are drowning in the funk this pedal is for you.

The EQD Sea Machine is the best chorus pedal I have ever used. It does standard chorus effects flawlessly but if you want this thing to shimmer and shine it will. The animate knob makes the pitch bend, warp wobble. It can get pretty extreme. The LFO produces incredible reverb & delay like ambiance. This is a must have.

Wow...the docs call this a 'super' chorus and after a couple weeks of configuring and stage use, I'm a believer...works great for fretted and fretless bass.
If your taste is for a basic chorus, save yourself some money and get an EHX Bass Clone.
Although easy to use, this device can add several layers of complexity (LFO control!) to make your sound unique. I really appreciate the flexi-switching feature and silent operation.
This is a classic case of you get what you pay for...

Everything I hoped it would be. I can go from subtle to crazy weird chorus and everything in between!I'm so glad I took this pedal off my bucket list and onto my pedalboard!

Wonderful tones. Love Earthquaker Devises. They make the best and intriguing pedals with a new take on the original effects. Never been disappointed with them.
