I purchased this instrument a few weeks ago, and I am loving it. Have played two live concerts with it, and it performed beautifully. When I tell you that you will never find a better bass guitar anywhere. Not price wise, or performance wise. I’ve owned my fair share of basses over the years; 4, 5, 6 string, fretless, EBU’s and you usually get what you pay for. In this case, you get a lot more bass than what the price point indicates. Right out of the box it has nice, tight action which is what I ???? . The neck is smooth to play… effortless. The stock pickups and eq do exactly what you expect them to. No unpleasant surprises. Lots of tonal range in this bass. If you’re looking for a solid bass at a decent price point, look no further.

Best bass ever!
Love it this bass. It sounds amazing. Look is perfect with the natural color. I’ve been using it for at least 5 years. Just purchased a new one for my brother. Can’t beat the price and the quality.

Even though it was on back order and I have played this many a time at a guitar store this one plays so smooth it’s not even funny I love this bass I love how nice it sounds in standard but I started playing in down a whole step tuning just before I bought this and I tuned it down and adjusted the saddles and the truss rod and it plays just as smooth if not smoother than it did from factory

For the price this is one sweet bass. This bass was playable right out of the box, low action and preamp sounds clear. I just got this bass and I am very happy with it. I was thinking of getting the Yamaha JP2 but I am glad I got this bass. Like I said, You can't go wrong for the money.

Sounds amazing out of the box. Very playable 6 string, you can slap it and tap it.
The pickups/electronics are surprisingly high quality for being made in house so I will look to ESP/LTD again in future.

The tone this bass produces made me check the price on my order 10 times because I couldn’t believe I didn’t spend $2,000 to get it. Rest assured the price is accurate. ESP could easily double the cost of this bass and it would still be worth it. Such a good bass!! If you want to hear what I do with it check out my band Census on all major streaming platforms!

First of all it came very protected so you don't have to worry about it being damaged when delivered. Its my first 6 string bass, it sounds and feels great to play. Just used it live the other day and man it sounded amazing with some effect pedals I used it with. Totally recommend.

Looks great, plays great. A real beauty and beautiful sounding instrument. Giving it only 4 stars because of the heavy weight. It might give you some shoulder troubles at the end of a gig. Besides that, well worth the money.

...more beautiful sound. The electronics in this bass are amazingly responsive! You can dial up almost any sound you'll ever need, from jazz to slap, rock to rap - the sonic response is there! After a few adjustments out of the box this bass plays as well as any I've used, and my experience is across decades and all genres. Show music, disco, dance, pop, and jazz are complimented by the sounds available at you fingertips. Professional feel and sound for a bargain price relegates my "better" basses to a space in my instrument closet. You can get this axe with no regrets!

I was looking for a 6 string bass when I noticed this beauty in a local guitar shop. I was a bit reluctant to try a $500-ish instrument because normally those are not really that good -- if you want a pro-sounding instrument that is. After looking around for weeks I really didn't like the high-end instruments I tested, except the ones that were in the upper $1,500 - $2,000 scale. Then I saw this beauty, loved the look and the design, and decided to give it a try and to tell you the truth I WAS BLOWN AWAY. The instrument has rich, deep sound, the LO-MID-HI adjustments are simply PERFECT and the size and position is simply amazing. The only bad side is its weight, but that is something that takes a little bit of getting used to. Also, I think I might be spending a little bit down the road on a better bridge, but as it is it does its job perfectly. This one rakes it in as being a PRO instrument in a budget package that LOOKS and SOUNDS great!!!

I was looking at 5 string basses and tried this by chance. I couldn't believe how well it plays. It could easily cost much more. I purchased two days later. The sound is well balanced going from E to to low B. The setup from the factory is well done. The strings from the factory will need to be replaced but will get you through the first month fine.

Great bass for the money. After I swapped out the strings that came on it with a set of DR fat beams the bass comes to life!! The only downer on this bass is that it weighs in at 12 lbs!!! Little on the heavy end but overall great bass!!!
