Product Rating Product Review I’ve been aware of this guitar for awhile, and I love the idea of a guitar that you can play mellow jazz with….and then some speed metal or thrash. I finally pulled the trigger on it and I’m super happy I did. It took me an hour of just messing around with the evertune bridge to realize that once you understand it, it’s brutally simple and awesome to use, and the Fishman pickups have a very bright, slightly scooped midrange sound that I love…..and they’re pretty loud without being too overpowering. I haven’t had any issues with upper fret access like I read in one review….not that it was a big issue in that review anyways…..and even though it’s a little bigger than my other guitars, it hangs in a perfect spot and is comfortable to play. I’ve had it for about a week now and I’ve got no complaints. I’m also a huge Dillinger Escape Plan fan, and I think Ben Weinman has helped make a ridiculously good guitar that you can actually play anything with!

Product Review This is a nice instrument. My second guitar equipped with the Evertune bridge. Est weight is around 8lbs. Plays nice all over the neck. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the large upper bout of body hits the neck around the 16th fret so when you're playing up high you really need to wrap your thumb behind the neck. It's almost like you lose the support of your thumb and have to rely on finger pressure only, even though you can run your thumb pretty far up the neck. The Evertune is nice, but for some reason, I have to tweak it pretty often, especially the G string. My BC Rich Mockingbird Evertune stays in better tune. I barely have to tweak the BCR at all. The BW1 will hold a pretty steady tuning through a performance. The Fluence Moderns sound very good also, no hum! Quiet as can be. The body is also stretched compared to a LP style single cut, so it's physically a large guitar. Feels similar in size to a 335 style body. Overall, it's a cool guitar and stands out from the everyday LP/Strat/Tele style instruments.

Product Review I'm usually rather hard on guitars and have never been a fan of single cut les paul style guitars but i had the opportunity to play the old model of this and fell in love. The guitar i recieved was set up from the get go flawlessly. The fretwork is stellar, the finish, superb. The Fishman Fluence moderns are very bright in active voicing and take on a much darker tone with the passive voice making for an incredibly versitile guitar. I cannot reccomend the ESP LTD BW-1 enough! My favorite of over 20 guitars

Product Review Out of the box this beast sounded amazing and had a great set up. The pick ups sound crazy good, and she stayed in tune for weeks! I own a good number of guitars and this instantly became my favorite. Its tone and play ability are epic. Don't lets its classic shape fool you, its metal to the core!
