Product Rating Product Review When I ordered this bass, I wasn't sure what to think. ESP LTD's have never let me down and I have several B and F series 4 and 5 strings. I had never played the 6 string, let alone the D series. Once I received the bass, it sounded amazing right out of the box. The tone of the ESP pickups are great, real punchy and cuts through the mix very well. The neck is large but really doesn't feel big while you're playing. I was able to reach every fret up and down the neck with minimal effort. I would really recommend this bass for any player looking for a great 6 string. Another great bass from ESP Guitars, I have never got a bad ESP.

Product Review This bass will fit right in your hands! If you have not played a six string bass I highly recommend starting on this because it’s also inexpensive!

Product Review For the price this is a good bass. The wood is beautiful, the sustain is great, the overall quality is good. The string spacing is tighter than I'm used to, but this bass frets really fast and I like that. The pickups and the preamp need to be upgraded, but for the price that's to be expected.

The quality far exceeded my expectations personally would not add more Provides a lot control with tone options Your general opinion of this product. I am a guitar player that needsd a bass for recording in the studio and for filling in with a band that needs a bass player at times. It is my first experience with ESP and I was completley blown away. The really is not a 450.00 bass. The quality is that of a 1200.00 bass. I have always played Ibanez guitars. I am now thinking of picking up a couple of ESP guitars after this purchase as Ibanez quality has got so poor over the last several years. Not to heavy and not to light. About what I expected. The feels great. Thin for a 6 string. lots of ajustment here and I was happy Great Neck was perfect. I did lower the action a little. However it was not high when I got it. The good thing about ESP is that they are set up when they arrive in the U.S. by ESP before they go to the dealers. Again, Ibanez should take note of this because they just ship to the dealer and then to you. No one looks at it and you usually wind up with crap for set up. Not with ESP though. There U.S. inspectors sign the backs of the guitars on a sticker.

Yes, the product was well. The sound and the action It is very easy to to get the sound you are looking for. Once you get use to it, it's pretty fast. The neck is smaller than most 6 strings. the control are very good This bass can actually compete with some of the more expensive basses. I've been playing for about 20 years and have tried several much more expensive bass guitars. For the money you can't go wrong. The finish was pretty good for the most part. There were a few minor blemishes. The action out of the box was great. I did not have to adjust anything.

Best 6 String Bass Value out There

Very well made, solid, feels like a bass worth 3 times what I paid. The neck radius is just right. The ESP pickups produce a great sound. The tone is amazing. I play through a Behringer BX4410 and can get any tone I want I was suprised at the weight, not too heavy. The back of the neck is a bit sticky, but that easily solve with 0000 steel wool. The volume and EQ controls are very smooth and very responsive. Very slight movement from center produces desired changes. This is a versitle bass. Should work for all playing styles depending on AMP setup. I would say out of box great for Jazz, Funk, R&B, Rock and Country. For metal, maybe a string change. Not anythhing fancy, but very well done. Care was taken in the building process and it shows. Very nice action my hands instantly adapted. The strings are sligthly closer together than my 5 string, but after a few scales your hands adapt.
