Product Review This guitar arrived after only 2 days, which was earlier than estimated. It came without a scratch on it and the inlays are very cool. After getting it set up it sounds awesome. The best thing about it to me is the playability of the neck. It is effortless and already has made a big difference in my playing and my interest in playing. Best guitar I have played and owned.I have had it now for about three weeks and Im practicing on it almost every day.It's perfect for my style of heavy metal but also clean resonant tones without my distortion. I play straight to my amp now without any additional effects pedals except my loop.

Product Review I had been back and forth on deciding to purchased this. It came us as an open box with minor blemish so I bought it. When I received it I looked over the body and noticed a couple of scratches, I figured that was the minor blemish. Then I noticed the the tip of the neck looked like someone’s dog tried to eat it and there are also a couple of dings or teeth marks in the side of the neck. Looks bad but it was almost $100 less than normal price but I think this is more than a “minor blemish “ So I played it and it sounds amazing and feels great. Almost made me forget about the blemishes on it. Although it won’t make you be able to play every Metallica song ever written as soon as you pick it up, but it is one heck of a nice guitar. You can’t go wrong with an EPS/LTD, great guitars.

Product Review I’ve always wanted a Kirk Hammett guitar!!! They were just never in my price range, then I found this one, not in stock till 10/1, but I check last week and bam!!! They had them in stock, I ordered it right away!!!! Came in a week later and I haven’t put it down since!!! For stock pickups it shreds, but they will be replaced by EMG KHBB’s in time, this guitar plays and feels great, stays in tune with the Floyd, no issues whatsoever!!! I love this guitar, thanks again AMS!!!!!!

this product is well done..remember after all is a high low end of a ESP guitar will find out, only owned it for a week,time will tell feel just rightnot heavy, fast neck controls are well located easy to get to brite and snappy great nice black finish horrible, had to take it to the local gs for a set up after that is fine

One of the best made guitars ive ever seen.its a must have. this is a worthy guitar of the master,kirk hammet.the only thing i would change is swithching the pick ups to some blackouts. best guitar for 500 bucks only had it a week but i think its gona last this guitar never gets old,never get tired of playing it.ive had it for years and it still feels like its brand new. Let's just say I've been playing for 20 plus yrs. I've owned Les Pauls, Ibanez, Fender, Hohner and several other guitars thru the years. This is one of the best I've had so far. I've only had it for a few weeks, but no problems what so ever. Your general opinion of this product. It plays really nice, the action is great, the only complaint I have is that in the magazine and online it's listed with EMG-HZ pickups and black hardware. It came with ESP LH300 pickups and chrome hardware. The pickups do sound alright just not EMG's. Also it's called KH202 signature model, "Where's the signature?" The neck feels awsome, you can fly on it, the control knobs are no problem, same set up as my Ibanez RG's. Tone is not bad, but as I mentioned before, I would have prefered the EMG' or Seymour Duncon Blackouts. The finish on the oter hand is MINT!! The neck inlays look really sweet!! Action out of the box was fine, just needed to be tuned.

The craftsmanship on this guitar is very well made, it is black so keeping a polishing cloth on hand isn't a bad idea.... Once you get your strings broke in, this guitar holds a tune, and only requires minor tuning adjustments day to day.... Your general opinion of this product. I love this guitar! I have had a few other guitars and some cost me alot more than this ESP, however this is the best quility guitar I have had and I wil buy another ESP in the future... This is a fast playing guitar, small neck w/24 frets. It really feels like it belongs in your hands. I would suggest effects pedals, or a multi effects pedal to get that tone you are looking for, but then again, that is a must for any guitar! I love the black finish, but as I said before, keep a polishing cloth on hand. I had to adjust the action a little, but then again this guitar was shipped from hot Las Vegas, and I live in a more moist and cool environment, so this was really no suprise to me, and was totally expected

THIS IS A WELL BUILT AXE THAT WILL LAST FOR A LONG TIME WITH THE PROPER CARE. THIS AXE IS NOT THAT HEAVY, I HAVE PLAYED HEAVIER ONES LETS PUT IT THAT WAY. HAS A VERY SMOOTH NECK, NICE TO HAVE A VOLUME KNOB FOR EACH PICKUP (BUT ONE DOES KINDA GET IN THE WAY OF PICKING, BUT NO BIG DEAL IF YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY). HAS A REAL HEAVY TONE. THE TONE ON THESE ESP-EMG LH300'S ARE A BIT MUDDY (GREAT FOR DROP TUNING THOUGH). THE PAINT JOB AND FINISH WAS EXCELLENT ON THIS AXE, COULDNT ASK FOR ANY BETTER TO ME!! QUALITY:
Very well made and dependable. Perfect from right out of the box. Hope it lasts me a lifetime. I've read that the frets aren't stainless. That might be the worst feature.

FEATURES:
The look and feel of the guitar are probably the best features. From the box, the guitar was in perfect tune and had just the right action. I didn't feel worthy of touching it. I would add some stainless steel frets.

EASE OF USE:
Easy to play. Takes awhile to restring and retune, but it's all worth it. Insanely playable.

VALUE:
Definitely worth the price. Almost a steal.

Your general opinion of this product. I've had this guitar for about 2 months and I absolutely LOVE it. The only reason I knocked down the Quality is beacuse of the "Licensed" Floyd Rose bridge. It goes a little out of tune when you use the tremolo, otherwise, you hardly ever have to tune this thing. Action, hardware, electronics, sound, and craftsmanship are all outstanding! I was amazed at the quality of the finish on it. I don't think you're going to get a better guitar for the money!

QUALITY:
okay quality. when I recieved the guitar the truss was so loose that when I mess with the trem the truss knocks really loud and you can hear it in the amp when I ordered the guitar it came with EMG HZ-4's. But when it shipped to me it came with lh-300. I ordered the lefty version and got a righty trem bar.

the pickups kinda suck. too much hum for these humbuckers.

QUALITY:
overall the quality of this guitar is pretty well made. the wood of the guitar isn't the best, but for it's price its damn good. I've giged with it a few times and it hasn't failed me yet. Try to keep your floyd and tuning pegs clean because the chrome starts to come off after a lot of use and starts to look like chipped paint.

The skulls and crossbone inlays are the best feature. the floyd rose is normal unless u know how to tweak with it then you can really get it to scream. the emg's are regular stock pu's and don't sound too too good. i recommend getting a good distortion or gain pedal (unless u have a good stack) to get a good tone. I also recommend getting a pair of emg 81's or even 81 85. Because with this guitar u will look like kirk but u sure wont sound like him unless u have the proper equipment.

This thing is rock solid. Hasn't failed me yet. Extremely well made.

Floyd Rose is great for a licensed. stays in tune like a charm. too bad they don't make this guitar with EMG HZ's anymore. instead they put stock ESP pickups now. haha suckers, i got mine when this sucka came stock with EMG HZ's

Extremely smooth fretboard for under $500. changing strings is a pain in the ass, but it's a floyd rose, so it's an even trade.

VALUE:
definately worth it. can't see why anyone would buy anything else. except maybe a jackson dkmg. those come stock with EMG 81's now.

SOUND:
The HZ's punch out a great sound. haven't heard the ESP LH-100 pickups yet. Probably less treble response and a muddier sound.
