Product Rating Product Review I recently purchased this guitar from AMS and I really like it. But, it is at least 4" longer than any 6 string guitar I have ever owned. After being unable to fit it in 5-6 different guitar cases, I had to put it in a bass case. If you are OK with that, buy it. It is also 14" wide and that was a problem in some of the guitar cases. Thanks!

Product Review I use this guitar to play in a 2 man acoustic duo (guitar/piano and drums). This guitar is easy to play, performs gig after gig, and is easy to get a good sound out of. It is very rugged and roadworthy. My guitar from AMS came in 1 day and was set up perfectly. The workmanship was very solid and this is a well built instrument. My only negative is that it is hard to string and when I strung this guitar in the traditional way I was breaking string after string. I solved the problem by stringing the guitar in a wrap around fashion which has eliminated all string breakage.

Product Review This guitar is best ive had the privilege to play. The fishman pickups are amazing and easy to understand. The guitar came already set up and ready to go right out of the box. Also the crew at AMS are always ready to help if you have any questions. They are my go to company for amazing instruments. I used my ESP TL-6 to open for GARY Allan this summer and everyone commented on how great my ESP sounded and looked. Ill not shop anywhere else.

Product Review When I received this guitar I just had to make a slight truss rod adjustment as I tune down half a step, but when I finished this guitar played great. If you want the acoustic sound with the playability of an electric, this is your guitar. The neck feels great and the body had no defects and is light weight.

Product Review When I received this guitar the outer box was damaged, but the inner box was fine and the guitar was undamaged. The neck was out of adjustment and there was considerable string buss especially on the first string. I made a quick adjustment and I'm satisfied. The guitar sounds unique. I watched several reviews so I wasn't expecting a fantastic acoustic sound. However, I am very pleased with the sound. When plugged into an electric clean amp the sound is very crisp. Nice! When plugged into my Marshall Acoustic amp it has a nice acoustic sound. It is unique and that's what I was looking for in a new guitar.

Product Review This is a fantastic acoustic. But is built like a semi-hollow. So you get all the playability and comfort of an electric guitar neck with the sound and strings of an acoustic. It really sounds amazing plugged in. Has more of a tone of an acoustic with a sound hole cover, which I love. (Megadeth is a perfect example)

Great electric-acoustic for the Electric players

Product Review This is a great electric acoustic guitar. I don't play a acoustic very often, so like most electric players who don't play acoustic much, I find it to be a little frustrating because of the difference in the feel and playability. With the TL-6 I don't feel that. The neck feels almost identical to an electric guitar neck (if you're familiar with ESP/LTD it feels almost exactly like the standard Eclipse model neck) and the action is much lower and closer to an electric feel. The Fishman electronics sound great, very rich and full when it's plugged in. Obviously it's meant to be plugged in and if you get it expecting a strong unplugged acoustic sound you'll be very disappointed. But if you're looking for something that can be plugged in and plays almost like and electric and sounds great amplified then this is definitely the right guitar.

Product Review The tone and playability of this guitar far exceeds my expectations. I restrung it with Elixer strings and played on a Fender acoustisonic 100 amp... WOW!! Incredible tone!

Product Review Plays great and sounds wonderful coming out a pa through a D/i box, it’s my go to guitar for any kind of acoustic set I’m playing, feels and plays like a electric, besides the set up I have no complaints!

Product Review Was really looking for a thin line acoustic for traveling. Esp is a great brand. The only thing about this guitar is you have to plug it in to an amp or it sounds like an electric unplugged even with acoustic strings.

Product Review It’s a pretty cool guitar, has decent acoustic sounds, what really drove me to this was the accessibility of the high frets, I also meddled a bit with a little distortion and it’s not to shabby but it feels well constructed, it’s not heavy but it’s not a light guitar either. All around not bad at all for the price.

Product Review I really wanted to like this one. The B-band is weak and lifeless. Needs tons of EQ help to work, but the last straw was the defective middle rear bridge not glued. I was able to slide a thick piece of cardboard paper half an inch under it. AMS is great about returns.
