This lil guy does great. Its a handheld 1 watt solid state amp. It also has a kickstand to tilt back and can stand looking like the traditional stack.
It comes with a 9v battery already installed so you can just plug and play. You can also connect it with a plug in adapter ( not included ) should you choose to do so.
This is the perfect companion to a need of late night playing, quiet practice and take an amp with you. This is a really nice thing to have at your disposal. Well worth the $50 price tag.
The sound is nice also. It can get very loud however when turning up the volume it just sounds convoluted and messy. Still , this is a great little piece of gear to satisfy needs.

OK. Bought this for my kid sister for her first guitar.... this lil thing is actually pretty sweet. Sound is good for what it is. Decent volume. The fact that it can take a 9 volt or use DC power is a nice plus. Would've given 5 stars of it had came with a DC plug in. If you want a cute, functional, mini amp, check this one out.

Can we remove el34 from the name, this is nothing but a simple solid state amp that is cool looking next to the computer but definitely not anything close to a tube amp and what would you expect at 50 bucks? ??

For being only one amp. This little guy with all of it 1 amp can rock a room surprisingly well. The bad. It could use some weight. Its so light that the guitars cord will pull it over. Other that great liittle amp

By far one of the best portable mini amps I've played! It sounds great with the built in gain and tone knobs and you can shape it however you want! But the real selling point is how great it works with pedals! Its very clear and crunchy with a distortion and a chorus sounds beautiful through this beast! Even multi effects pedals come through crystal clear! %100 recommended to anyone looking for a great practice amp or someone who just wants something different. Fantastic amp!!
