Loud and i mean LOUD.!!!! Perfect companion to the 50watt head. I have tried it with a Marshall 100 watt head., ( yes you can if you dont push the volume on the head , but be careful lol ) and this can sings. It roars when asked and screams when driven. The g12h speakers are bold and clear., no mess or mud here, what you get is concert like sound.

First off, this accentuates my EVH head in looks and sound. In rehearsals and a live setting it carries it’s own weight tonally. The construction is sturdy, the sleek design is low key but pops just seeing it across the room. I’m gonna give it a few more slamming hours of audio break in time and in no time this 2 x 12 will be roaring to its utmost potential like any good, properly broken in pair of Celestion speakers. The payment plan really affords the opportunity to own over time when the bucks are a little tight. I recommend this cab as it plays well with other low wattage cabs.

I have an EVH 5150 III EL34 50w head to go with this 2x12 cabinet and an EVH 5150 III 6L6 50w head and matching 2x12 in Ivory. These two head and cab combos are the foundation of my new stereo rig I am assembling. I got the EL34 head a week prior to receiving the matching cab and ran it into the 2x12 6L6 cab and although the design is the same and both have 30th anniversary Greenback Celestion speakers, I'd swear it sounds different with the matching cab. Either way, stellar gear. I have always owned high end Marshall 4x12 cabinets and I love the sound of these 2x12 cabs from EVH. Not to mention buying from AMS means an additional year of warranty and peace of mind. If you have any issues Al in customer service will take care of you. I had some defective guitars and he took great care of me. I cannot say enough good things about Al, how I was treated, or AMS customer service or quality in general. Buy without fear, the good people here will take care of you! As for the gear, I don't think anyone can touch Eddie Van Halen when it comes to gear and these cabs rock!

I got this with the 50 watt EVH III 5150 EL34 head. This matching cab sounds awesome. It's rather deep for a 2x12 cab and sounds massive. No need to carry a 4x12 cab anymore.
