It was a Time Factor vs. Time Line shoot out. Time Factor was more pleasing to my ear. Somehow it's intuitive in ways I couldn't imagine. Simple, powerful, and full of magic. Great price too! Yes it's old. Yes it's big. Who really cares. Might not require another delay pedal...ever.
I made a preset that that caused two signals to bump into each other in a very odd way. Since then, my eyes have been all whacky with joy. It weighs as much as three of my shoes. English is not my first language.

Pros. Very nice effects.
Cons. You can't go backwards with the bank side without a foot switch. Also it's made in China and at this point I'm trying to buy American products only. Buy American.FChina.

Great sound, knobs are solid and you can save any new changes fast. The only set back that I have is not being able to go from bank 3 back to bank 2 without going all the way around. It’s an amazing peddle that will give you great sounds.

I am thoroughly impressed by the amount of options that this pedal offers. It offers everything across the gamut, from sparkly tones to more gritty tape-like delays. Can not recommend more highly!

A seriously powerful delay pedal. Tons of options and can do any type of delay imaginable. The Timefactor also has enough options to do very convincing chorus and reverb effects in addition to ambient delays.
I will say this pedal has a steep learning curve, however the benefits outweigh the drawbacks by far. Take the time to learn Timefactors functions and be rewarded with unlimited flexibility.

Baddest Delay on the Planet!

Very high quality product. Solid metal, good feeling knobs and jacks, above and beyond input and output capabilities, and the most full featured programmability.
I own two eventide factor stompboxes for a year or so and never had any problems. I don't use them for gigging (yet) and I use the awesome midi control so I am not stomping on them all the time. They are holding up fine inside my rack.
Your general opinion of this product.
Very awesome stompbox. Best I have ever used. Very full featured delays, awesome sound, extreme programmability. I love this thing, it is my favorite item in my rack.
This stompbox is easy to control however you want to control it. With the built in switches, midi, extra footswitches, and an expression pedal. You can control it many ways. A little hard to program the pedal, but the manual is very good and once you figure it out you can control any parameter. I love it.
Like I said before, this thing sounds amazing. I don't know how eventide gets their stuff to sound so good. I am not a fan of digital effects because of the brittle digital sound. But eventide knows how to make digital sound excellent.
Looks very cool with LED display and the smooth black metal.
Came with good packaging and an awesome sticker. Not much to hooking it up, its a pedal. In/out and power. Also, it came with a very good owners manual.

Your general opinion of this product.
As good as it gets. For what this can do, it's well worth the price. There's nothing else that can do what this pedal does.
As easy to use as any delay pedal and enough options to tweak for years.
Crystal clear to severely warped... it can do the pristine digital delays, warm analog delays, perfect tape delays from factory-fresh to worn-out tape... all with modulation.
