The neck pickup is a push-pull pot humbucker with the classic Tele bridge pickup. This guitar can cover a wide range of genres. I got this for Christmas 2020 from my parents and I cannot put it down. This Fender Telecaster has everything I was looking for in a guitar from the maple neck to it's warm and smooth expressions. This is a recommended guitar for anyone ready to sound like a pro.

Legit gang, this guitar is great for the price. The single on the bridge cranks out great fat lead tones that cut through. The humbucker on the neck is amazing. The coil tap really gives you great neck-tone options. The neck feels magical. Trust me, get this guitar. It holds tune great!

This Telecaster has turned into my favorite guitar. I have bought alot of guitars from AMS and the Performer Hum Telecaster has turned to the guitar I pick up and play the most. With a single coil and humbucker I get alot of tones and sounds from it. I would definitely want another

I have always loved telecasters and having the humbucker up front makes it even more versatile. Great quality you would expect from an American made Fender. I strongly suggest this guitar. Keep playing and love the music!!!

My kid loves Kurt Cobain and last year I got him the mustang – the Squire version. That was plenty for him at the time. He has been playing every day since he got it and he’s getting quite good. I found out that I have cancer, and though I will probably live through it, there is a possibility I may not. I wanted to buy him a “ forever Guitar.” I want to make sure I get to see the look on his face!
Originally I decided to get beat the former Mustang and I ordered it. When it came, I played it a bit to make sure it was good and didn’t need a set up and I noticed that it went out of tune a bit. The tremolo system it’s OK but not amazing. later that week, my son went to go look at the guitars with me. He went right to the performer mustang – even the same color. I was quite sure that I had hit it out of the park. He tried a bunch of other guitars and we talked about that one on the way home because he tried it first. He also noticed that it wouldn’t stay in tune very well.
I called American musical supply and asked if I could exchange it with a telecaster with a fixed bridge because he also loves the telecaster.
They don’t do straight up swaps, you have to return the first item and they will refund the money. So I did. I cannot wait to see him open up this Tele on Christmas morning! I played it for about 20 minutes through a few different Amps, and it’s rocksolid. I know he will be happy with it.

As stated above, the neck Humbucker is a great feature on a Tele. Great for playing Blues.
The coil tapping feature allows a standard Tele sound.Love the Maple fingerboard and the 22 frets! Nice having an American Tele for the price. AMS made it easy! I highly recommend this guitar!!

I wanted another tele but something a little different. With the addition of the humbucker neck pickup this guitar delivers beefy warm tone and the new Yosemite pickup in the bridge is a bit hotter and great for rock and leads. I like this one a lot and would recommend it for any serious player.

I was skeptical about buying a telecaster with a humbucker but after playing this guitar it is a keeper in my arsenal of teles. Sometimes you just need some bottom end with a telecaster and this instrument gets the job done. The color is fabulous. I always wanted a vanilla pudding-colored telecaster and this finish does not disappoint.
